When 9/11 happened, I was a total news junkie and couldn't stop watching news footage about it.
I recall that same night, I saw news footage of a woman who said that her son worked in one of the towers. She said that he had phoned her to tell her that he was ok because he hadn't gone into work that day. And that he had been in the building late the night before downloading all of the files off of his computer.
I remember thinking, WTF, he downloaded all of his files the night before and then didn't go to work on the day of 9/11?
Someone tipped him off ahead of time.
I distinctly remember this footage being on the news because of the shocked realization that I had that there were people who knew about the attack ahead of time.
But I could never find the footage again.
