So why did Jesus tell the woman that she has had five husbands, and the man she has now is not her husband if sleeping together meant they were married?
Marriage is a promise. Many people sleep together without making that promise, while some (like me) made that promise before sleeping together, and we considered ourselves married before our "wedding" ceremony.
Wrong. If marriage is sleeping together in your mind, then they were married.
Stop listening to the people Jesus warned everyone about.

You shouldn't judge Jesus and His followers by those who come in His name and deceived many like He warned us they would.
However, every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. In the twinkling of an eye, all will be changed. The eye twinkles when it sees the light. We are the light of the world, and Jesus is the light of all mankind.
Sure He did, you just don't want to hear. That shows your lack of understanding of Jesus, we are One in Him.
