Charity Commission: no action needed over Prince Charles cash donation
Last month the Sunday Times reported the heir to the British throne had been personally given 3 million euros ($3.05 million) in cash by ex-Qatari prime minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani between 2011 and 2015, some of it in shopping bags.
Britain's Charity Commission said on Wednesday it had decided against carrying out any further investigation.

New Vatican policy orders foreign investment accounts closed
The Vatican on Tuesday issued an overarching investments policy…
The guidelines order Vatican departments to close their investment accounts or stock holdings in foreign banks, including in Italy, and transfer them to the Vatican Bank, to be overseen by a department called the Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See (APSA).
The investments are estimated at just under 2 billion euros ($2.05 billion).

Explaining the meaning of the gift, Pope Francis told Prince Albert and Princess Charlene that it depicted “the only occasion when one can look down on another: to reach out and help him or her up,” the Vatican said.
