China calls for ‘immediate ceasefire’ in Ukraine

 

All parties to the conflict should “sit down, calm down” and resume talks, Beijing’s ambassador to the US has said

 

China calls for an “immediate ceasefire” in Ukraine and the resumption of talks between all of the parties involved in the conflict, including the US and NATO, Chinese Ambassador to the US Qin Gang said on Wednesday.

 

Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado, Qin said that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine was “spilling over” and causing “multiple crises,” including economic downturn, an influx of migrants, and energy and food shortages.

 

“So what China is calling for is immediate ceasefire, resumption of peace talks. All parties involved should be engaged, including between Russia and US and its NATO allies,” the ambassador said.

 

He called on the sides to “sit down, calm down to find a way out of [the] dilemma” which would be based “on the principle of accommodating each other’s legitimate concerns.”

 

“Only by doing so can we achieve peace and can we restore the security in Europe which should be stable, should be comprehensive, should be balanced, effective and sustainable,” the diplomat said, adding that this position was shared by other developing countries.

 

According to the ambassador, Beijing believes that “national sovereignty and the territorial integrity of all countries must be respected” and that “the legitimate security concerns of all countries must be taken seriously.”

 

Meanwhile, two days ago, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba declared that peace negotiations with Moscow would make sense only after Russia’s defeat on the battlefield. By saying so, he echoed the remarks of EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, who claimed that, “This war [in Ukraine] will be won on the battlefield.”

 

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova responded to Kuleba’s statement by saying that the Ukrainian government did not seek peace for the country and, instead of talking with Russia, was choosing to sing along to Washington’s “tune.”

 

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has previously accused the US and its allies of “actively betting on the continued war” and of not allowing Kiev “to think nor talk about or discuss peace.”

 

Moscow and Kiev started peace talks four days after the start of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine in late February. The sides have held several rounds in person in Belarus and then continued the talks via video link. In late March, the delegations from Russia and Ukraine met once again, in Istanbul. Since then, however, the talks have stalled.

CIA Director: Iran Never Resumed Nuclear Weapons Program

 

In 2018, the US unilaterally pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran and six other nations, claiming without evidence that Tehran had secretly resumed its nuclear weapons program and imposing "maximum pressure" economic sanctions on the southwest Asian nation.

 

William Burns, director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), said on Wednesday that contrary to four years of claims by Washington, Iran never resumed the nuclear weapons program it abandoned in 2004.

"Our best intelligence judgment is that the Iranians have not resumed the weaponization effort that they had underway up until 2004 and then suspended, so that's something, obviously we at CIA and across the US intelligence community keep a very, very sharp focus on," Burns said at the Aspen Security Forum in Colorado.

Burns said the same thing in December at the Wall Street Journal's annual CEO Council, according to CBS News.

However, that hasn't stopped senior US officials from repeatedly claiming, even in the Biden administration in which Burns serves, that Iran has been nearing a "breakout" point and would be capable of building a nuclear bomb within weeks. For Israeli officials, the claims go back even further.

 

Israeli military intelligence actually reached a similar conclusion last fall, with director Maj. Gen. Tamir Hayman telling Israel's Walla News at the time that "To the best of our knowledge, the directive has not changed and they are not heading toward a breakout. They are not heading toward a bomb right now: It may be in the distant future."

 

"There is an enriched amount [of uranium] in volumes that we have not seen before and it is disturbing," Hayman said. "At the same time, in all other aspects of the Iranian nuclear project, we see no progress - not in the weapons project, in the financial area, not in any other sector."

After the Trump administration unilaterally pulled out of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018 and reimposed destructive economic sanctions against Iran, Tehran began backing away from the commitments it had made under the deal, which included accepting strict limitations on the quality and quantity of uranium-235 it could refine.

 

Iran says its handful of nuclear facilities are for pursuing nuclear power and medical research.

According to a new report, these two officials are silencing the Independent Media Group in South Africa by pushing the Standard Bank to close their accounts. The Independent Media Group South Africa is one of South Africa’s leading multi-platform content companies.

 

Iqbal Surve from the Independent Media Group released a video condemning leaders for the organized financial attacks on independent media outlets.

 

It’s sort of like the US Tech Giants and their attacks on independent media here at home.

Judge Tells Steve Bannon’s Lawyers Not To Make Trial A ‘Political Circus’

 

U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols kicked off the trial of former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon by telling his lawyers they could not cross-examine anyone on the stand in a way that would suggest the case against him is politically motivated.

 

“I do not intend for this to become a political case, a political circus, a forum for partisan politics,” Nichols said.

 

“Nichols’s warning was prompted when prosecutors raised concerns Tuesday morning after Evan Corcoran, one of Bannon’s defense attorneys, asked jurors in his opening statement the day before to consider whether the evidence against his client is ‘affected by politics,'” The Hill reported.

 

“Amanda Vaughn, an assistant U.S. Attorney prosecuting the case, said she was concerned the defense team was trying to find ways around Nichols’s previous orders precluding Bannon from trying to mount such a defense. Vaughn had raised an objection during Corcoran’s opening statement Tuesday when he made the remark about politics, leading the parties to have a sidebar with Nichols out of earshot of the jurors or public observers,” the report added.

 

“Nichols ruled on Wednesday that Bannon’s lawyers can question witnesses on the stand about whether they have their own personal biases, but not about the potential biases of lawmakers who authorized the Jan. 6 Select Committee subpoena to Bannon or voted in favor of holding him in contempt for refusing to comply with it,” the report continued.

 

“I will police that line the best I can,” Nichols said.

 

On Tuesday, Nichols denied Bannon’s request to delay the trial for one month.

 

Evan Corcoran, Bannon’s attorney, said there was a “seismic shift” in the parties’ understanding surrounding the judge’s past rulings.

CEO of Tim Hortons arrested for possession of child pornography – #BoycottTimHortons

 

The CEO of the iconic Canadian breakfast franchise Tim Hortons has been arrested at his home early Wednesday for possession of child pornography. He was taken into custody by police and is currently in prison awaiting a bail hearing.

 

Daniel Schwartz was arrested at his home outside of New York City by federal officers and members of the NYPD. Schwartz is a businessman that was serving as the Executive Chairman of Restaurant Brands International Inc. as well as Co-Chairman of RBI’s Board of Directors, which is the parent company of Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons.

 

Tim Hortons is currently under fire on social media due to its decision to discriminate against unvaccinated children and prohibit them from accessing their summer camp. Many Canadians are boycotting Tim Hortons, going to competing breakfast places in protest. One Twitter user exclaimed that she been refusing to drink Tim Hortons coffee ever since the company implemented the policy.

 

Tim Hortons has yet to issue a statement on the arrest of its CEO, and the mainstream media has been silent, which is common in these types of high profile arrests.

At least 181 K-12 educators charged with child sex crimes in first half of 2022

 

140 of the arrests, or 77%, involved alleged sex crimes against students

 

At least 181 K-12 educators, including four principals, were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the U.S. in the first six months of 2022, ranging from child pornography to raping students.

 

An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of principals, teachers, substitute teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in school districts across the country. Arrests that weren't publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher.

 

The analysis found that at least 181 have been arrested between January 1 and June 30, which works out to exactly an arrest a day on average.

 

The 181 educators included four principals, 153 teachers, 12 teachers' aides and 12 substitute teachers.

 

At least 140 of the arrests, or 77%, involved alleged crimes against students.

 

Men also made up the vast majority – 78% – of the arrests.

 

Many of the arrests involved especially heinous allegations.

 

Roger Weaver Freed, the 34-year-old former principal at Williamsport Area High School in Pennsylvania, was arrested in June and charged with sexual contact with a student, corruption of a minor, furnishing liquor to a minor, sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault without consent.

 

Freed is accused of having a years-long sexual relationship with a male student.

 

Shannon Hall, a 31-year-old former teacher at Jamaica Gateway to the Sciences High School in New York City, was arrested in June and charged with forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated harassment.

 

Hall is accused of grabbing a 14-year-old female student's breast inside his classroom and of sending texts to a 16-year-old student that said he wanted to have sex with her and threatening to kill her if she told anyone.

WEF Releases Video Pushing for the Use of “Space Bubbles” to Block Out The Sun, Reduce Climate Change

 

The World Economic Forum’s Agenda 2030 is a dystopian nightmare that’s chalked full of evil agendas such as population control, eradicating livestock (save for the elitists) and replacing it with synthetic meat, forcing the masses to consume insects and live in pods (you will own nothing and be happy), a digital takeover of everything, achieving total surveillance control, and consolidating power within a multinational globalist body that supercedes all other governments.

 

Essentially, once all institutions are razed to the ground, it will be the all-out technocratic reign of the elitists.

 

As if it wasn’t bad enough already… Now, under the tired grift of climate disaster, Klaus Schwab and his band of globalist megalomaniacs are toying with the idea of turning off the sun.

 

In a new dystopian video that was released by the WEF this month, the organization touted the use of futuristic “space bubbles” that could be used to effectively block out the sun, and thus, help reduce climate change. The “geoengineering” project would theoretically reflect a portion of solar radiation back into space in order to cool the planet, the video explains while highlighting a recent study about the project from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

 

The space bubbles, which are set to be made of thin plastic material, would be manufactured in space before being deployed in the form of a “raft” at the L1 Lagrangian Point – a point of equilibrium where the gravitational pulls between the Earth and the sun cancel out and the view of the sun is always uninterrupted.

 

According to the WEF video, the device would cover an area as large as the country of Brazil and it would be deployed above the atmosphere of the earth. And, sure enough, the video also claims that the gargantuan device would “likely” pose “no risk” of disrupting the planet’s ecosystems because it will reside above the atmosphere – which is questionable, at best. Simply blocking out a portion, or all of the sun would lead to extreme changes that could be catastrophic as sunlight is essential to life.

 

But, pay no mind to that. The ‘experts’ say it’s safe.

 

Carlo Ratti, an MIT researcher and architect who worked on the study, attempted to justify the safety of the project while claiming that extreme measures like this “might be our final and only option” to fight climate change. In other words, it’s the safest way because impending doom by way of the sun monster is nearly upon us.

“Geoengineering might be our final and only option. Yet, most geoengineering proposals are earth-bound, which poses tremendous risks to our living ecosystem. Space-based solutions would be safer — for instance, if we deflect 1.8 percent of incident solar radiation before it hits our planet, we could fully reverse today’s global warming.”

 

The timing of the WEF’s video release came just before Joe Biden announced that he was focusing the powers of the executive branch on combating climate change and the green agenda. Several Biden regime officials have also come out of late pushing the same “acceleration” line in an attempt to drum up urgency surrounding the climate crisis.

 

Basically, the agenda has shifted fully to climate change as the narrative in Ukraine continues to become more problematic. It’s shaping up to be an election season chalked full of ‘climate disaster’, and, naturally, the resurgence of Covid. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Joe Biden was expected to declare a “national climate emergency” during his remarks, but the White House said that will not happen today.

 

“[Biden] is going to make it clear that just because Congress couldn’t get [climate action] done, he is going to move forward with every power available to him to make the change in the shift to clean energy because it’s important,” McCarthy said.

McCarthy said everyone is melting because it’s so hot outside…in the middle of summer.
