Cyrus Vance Sr was Secretary of the Army at time of the JFK's assassination. He later served as Chairman of the board of the Rockefeller Foundation, and vice chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations.

In 1957, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson asked Vance to work in government, and asked Vance to work for the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services, where he helped draft the National Aeronautics and Space Act, leading to the creation of NASA. In 1961, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara recruited Vance to become General Counsel of the Department of Defense. He was then made the Secretary of the Army by President John F. Kennedy. He served in various high profile government roles, including being Secretary of State under Jimmy Carter.

According to Mark Shaws book (Denial of Justice), after Dorothy Kilgallen's murder, a “reliable source close to the DA’s office” told him that Cyrus Vance Sr’s staff found Kilgallen’s missing JFK file and “buried it.”

Cyrus Vance Sr's son, Cyrus Vance Jr, was the recent DA in Manhattan who was trying to nail Trump the whole time during the Muller investigation was happening in DC and during Trump's presidency, and afterwards.

Cyrus Vance Jr., has been hounding the Trump Organization for years regarding Tax Fraud and other issues. He was also the DA during the Harvey Weinstein investigation. The career-defining win, however, came only after Vance’s office declined to prosecute Weinstein in 2015 for allegedly groping model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez.

Now what are the odds that Cyrus Vance Sr was involved in JFK's assassination? Pretty high I would suspect. Probably behind Dorothy Kilgallen's death too. And according to Mark Shaw, his son, DA Cyrus Vance Jr., would help keep the crimes hidden by slamming shut a purported re-investigation into Dorothy Kilgallen's mysterious death.

New York District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. was demanding Trump’s tax record, and other personal and corporate records, from the years 2011 to 2019. Vance did not seek reelection as District Attorney in the 2021 election.
