Let if fizz and soften up the earwax, but not too long. Flush out ear canal with warm water. If peroxide left in too long it makes the soft earwax fall back towards the eardrum causing pain. It's the only thing that works for me. Drug store earwax kits with carbamide peroxide as the active ingredient don't seem to work, for me anyway.
10 minutes or so. It may take a couple of times to soften up and I only do it once a day so as not to irritate my ear too much. Most of the time the ear wax eventually comes out in small soft bits over days.
