There is no evidence that Epps, a sergeant in the military, ever entered the building himself and he was never arrested in connection to the siege

Epps is a longtime Arizona businessman.

In a video taken the day before the Capitol riot, Epps tells the interviewer that he is from Queen Creek and “with the naughty barn”.

The webpages for Naughty Barn, a Western-themed wedding venue, and Rocking R Farms in Queen Creek, describe Ray Epps as the owner. The site previously included photos of him, however those photos have been removed since January 6, 2021.

Let’s clear the air on a few things.

Ray Epps is a US citizen and acted as a citizen. With regard to Jan 6 he was not exercising priesthood authority under the direction of priesthood keys; therefore his membership and his priesthood are entirely unrelated. It is improper, unethical, and rather low if the OP to connect the two with such a question. Be better.

Epps admits to having encouraged people to enter the Capitol. He is on record as having insisted that they do so peaceably and peacefully.

Epps did not enter the Capitol on January 6 (likely because he saw it turning into something it was not intended to be.) He was never arrested and has not been charged with any crime. He has cooperated fully with investigations.

Conspiracy theories suggesting that he was secretly working with the FBI are unfounded.
