Wrong, Jesus spoke in parables and said "if you do not understand this parable how will you understand any of the parables?" because scripture is full of parables. Jesus said all these things are done in parable so some although ever seeing never perceive.
A good example, Jesus told us as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. The "FIRMAMENT" separates the "waters above" from the "waters below". Revelation 17:15 tells us the waters, where the PROSTITUTE sits, are people, multitudes, nations, and languages. His voice is like rushing waters.
You know that thin blue line? That symbolizes dividing those above from below. The LAW.
Another one, the tower of babel. They wanted to make a name for themselves, so they built a tower of heirarchy. Jesus said no stone will be left on top of another. The gentiles lord their authority over others, but we are all brothers and sisters. Like Q said, no one person is above another.
