Tanks but No Tanks: Poland is dissatisfied with the German government’s armaments
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said the German government has recently offered Poland the delivery of tanks to "fill the gap" created by Poland's donation of more than 200 tanks to Ukraine for the war. "I was asked if we were interested in Germany helping us to fill the vacuum that had arisen. I answered yes, of course," the minister has described.
However, Blaszczak has criticized that, in the condition in which the equipment is in, "it will take about twelve months to bring it into operational condition," since it cannot be used.
For her part, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock had admitted that the exchange plan for indirect arms supplies to Ukraine is not working as planned, according to the German news agency dpa.
