Insiders — and Hunter himself — say scandal-clad first son is Joe Biden’s ‘closest adviser’
As our aged president appears to be slipping cognitively, as well as slipping literally on the stairs of Air Force One, as he did again Wednesday, the whole world is wondering who really is in charge at the White House.
But there is another alarming prospect: the “smartest man” Joe Biden knows, his son, the crack addict-turned-blowpipe artist Hunter Biden.
Friends of Hunter say he discusses the finer points of Ukraine policy and other matters of state around the dinner table with his father on his regular weekend visits home to Delaware or Camp David.
One former friend describes him as his father’s “closest adviser.”

Israeli security establishments see nuclear agreement bad for 'Israel'
Israeli Channel 13 military affairs analyst, Alon Ben David, said Sunday that there is a consensus in the Israeli occupation security establishments that the Iranian nuclear agreement is bad for "Israel".
Ben David pointed out that the Israeli Mossad believes that the agreement revives the Iranian economy, gives a new impetus to Iran in the region, and makes it difficult for the Mossad to operate.
The Israeli military affairs analyst said that none of the sides asks "Israel" about its opinion about the agreement, adding that the US and Iran both want an agreement, and "unfortunately" the agreement will be made at the end of the day.
Concern prevails inside the Israeli occupation over a return to the Iranian nuclear agreement, as experts believe that "Israel" will not succeed in impeding the Iranian nuclear program.
This comes as the Israeli occupation is witnessing a political crisis and as the Knesset is expected to dissolve itself this week, in preparation for the fifth elections in just three years.
Lapid to Borrell: Tehran visit 'strategic mistake'
Earlier, POLITICO revealed that Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid strongly criticized EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, over a visit to Tehran with an aim to revive talks over the Iranian nuclear deal, which the Israeli occupation has long opposed.
According to the website, Lapid told Borrell that “this is a strategic mistake that sends the wrong message to Iran.”
It is noteworthy that at the end of his meeting in Iran, Borrell said that “The negotiations were stalled — no prospects of restarting — and thanks to these discussions, in the coming days they will start again, with close contacts between the United States and the Iranians.”

NEWS - Rep. Chris Jacobs announces he will not run for re-election
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Republican Congressman Chris Jacobs, who represents New York’s 27th district and announced his candidacy for New York’s 23rd district in May 2022, announced Friday he will no longer be running for the new district.
Jacobs, an Orchard Park native, recently spoke out against the sale of AR-15s following the white supremacist mass shooting at the Jefferson Avenue Tops Markets location in Buffalo and a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas that killed 19 children and two teachers.
NYS Conservative Chairman Gerard Kassar called Jacobs’ position on guns “unsatisfactory” and Erie County Conservative Chairman Ralph Lorigo called it “very disappointing,” adding, “We can’t support him in this district.”
Tompkins County legislator Mike Sigler announced Tuesday he would be challenging Jacobs for NY-23 in the primary, however, on News 4 at 4 Friday, he said he would be stepping aside to put his support behind NYS Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy. The Buffalo News reported earlier this week that Langworthy may consider a run, though he has not formally announced his candidacy.
News 4 also confirmed Ellicott Development Co. chair and former candidate for governor Carl Paladino plans to run, now that Jacobs is out of the race.
