Aformer Vice President Mike Pence press secretary, Alyssa Farah Griffin, will reportedly assume the spot once held by Meghan McCain as a conservative co-host of ABC's "The View."
Griffin has periodically slid into a seat co-hosting the show since departing the White House at the end of the last administration.
She already has a contract with CNN and regularly appears as a commentator on the cable TV network as a newly anti-Trump member of the former president's staff. It's unclear what will happen to her CNN contract if she indeed signs with ABC.
Griffin has faced criticism from members of the left and the right for appearing to alter and transform her political views to gain media attention.
One of her earliest jobs in politics was communications director for the Freedom Caucus, among the House's most conservative factions.
