>[MARIJUANA and endocannabinoids] are the "CURE FOR EVERYTHING…"

HOLD your horses ANON...

(neuropsychopharmfag here)

Yes, the US gov holds patents on THC and other cannabinoids, but they are not worth shit unless someone licenses the patent, and then takes the invention to market. All it really means is that US tax dollars (NIH funded research) were used to make these discoveries and then the investigators filled a patent to protect the intellectual property. People license US patents all the time. For example, Kevin Costner licensed a US GOV patent technology to cleanup oil spills.

While there is a TON of biomedical research on THC and endocannabinoids, this DOES NOT mean they are "the CURE FOR EVERYTHING." In fact, some research suggest that endocannabinoids play an “unexpected role in governing pain-inhibitor neurons in the spine, and may even possibly increase the risk for turning short term, sharp pain, into more long term pain."

I am NOT suggesting that cannabis is not USEFUL or not THERAPEUTIC, medicinally or otherwise. In fact, CANNABIS PROHIBITION probably HELPS keep the whole fukking medical establishment and its BIG PHARMA edifice propped up.

How? Because it keeps everyone focused on the injustice of banning this one "miracle plant" while we remain BLIND to the many others (e.g. willow - SEE GRAPHIC) that we still have access to.

Also, consider that beta-Caryophyllene, the predominate terpene (30%) found in cannabis flowers is very active at CB2 receptors, while other cannabinoids like CBD are inactive. Thus, is it likely the case that a (((considerable portion))) of the therapeutic benefits of cannabis in the treatment of pain have little to do with THC or CBD and are mediated by a bioactive terpene that is found in many other LEGAL plants.

SO YEAH, LETS END CANNABIS PROHIBITION FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS (i.e. for personal liberty, to end the corporate prison industrial complex and its unfair oppression of nonviolent minorities (poor whites included), for HEMP farming, and for medicinal purposes), but NOT because of the STRAWMAN argument that it "CURES EVERYTHING." IF WE CONTINUE TO USE MEDICAL MARIJUANA AS OUR PREDOMINATE ARGUMENT TO END ITS PROHIBITION, WE WILL LOSE!

BTW, if you want to increase your levels of endocannanoids NOW LEGALLY, just take Tylenol (acetaminophen) as one of its metabolites is an endocannabinoid re-uptake inhibitor. However, RESEARCH has shown that it will turn short term, sharp pain, into more long term pain and BIG PHARMA loves that.

I also don't recommend taking acetaminophen because it is toxic to both liver and the brain by depleting intracellular glutathione. AND NEVER take acetaminophen COMBINED with OPIATES for this reason (another story but I digress).

>Here is a copy of that FUN little video

I DON'T ADVOCATE POLICE BRUTALITY, but this bitch faked that fall and then struck a COP, so she had it coming. It is also good to see that EUROPEAN COPS haven't lost all their testosterone yet, I just wish they would use it to PROTECT their own citizens from the foreign barbarian invaders who gang rape their women and children.

>Ibuprofen the same problems as acetaminophen?

Not in the same way. It may have its own problems with long term use, but I haven't studied it that much, so I can't really comment. For me, ibuprofen works well for a headache, but now a days I just use aspirin (flavored BC (?) powders with caffeine) are great.
