I freaking saw this live! Restoring hope established a 2nd place position until just after halfway, then suddenly moved to the center of the pack and dropped speed like crazy. He interfered with 4 or 5 horses, making them react to not hit him.
Guess NASCAR rules now apply to horse racing!
