Any lawfags here know what "Motion for Substitute Service" mean in regards to a docket?
Lawfags, what does "Motion For Substitute Service" mean? In regards to an Indictment?
Thanks anon
>Motion for substitute service refers to a request asking a judge to issue an order for substituted service. The motion explains that service was attempted, but failed, and describes the method of service requested to the court.
So maybe like if someone cant be located to get served? Or if they are not answering?
Makes perfect sense, anon. Thanks so much!
