The Queens’ Bedroom, one of two principal guest suites for important visitors, was totally reimagined by Melania Trump and Kannalikham. The formerly deep salmon walls are now a much paler shade, and there is a light rug with a floral border. A gilded bed with elaborate hangings replaces the four-poster carved wood bed thought to have belonged to Andrew Jackson, which had been in the room for decades.

🇨🇦 Update: SIX Canadian Doctors Have Died in Less Than 2 Weeks 💉#DiedSuddenly

With the focus on the five doctors who’ve passed away in the Greater Toronto Area, the sudden and unexpected death of a doctor in Saskatchewan has been overlooked.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and Emmanuel Health issued a statement saying they are mourning the loss of Dr. Shahriar Jalali Mazlouman, a family physician from Melville who unexpectedly passed away on July 23.

Mazlouman was found dead at a local swimming pool in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, on Saturday.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police were called to the the D.A. Mackenzie Aquatic Center around 1:30 p.m. and found the man unresponsive in the pool. He was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

Out campaigning and came across a dead rattlesnake in the road next to an elementary school. Took one of my yard sign sticks and picked it up and threw it into the field so a curious school kid didn’t end up with venom in their hand if they touched the fangs. Protecting our school kids from snakes. Felt symbolic.
