He’s still a very rich man, but don’t think for one second he didn’t give up alotto try and help his country.
I’m a veteran. I know what you’re saying, but this man had a life most could only dream of and he put it all to the side to try and save the USA. He went from a wildly popular billionaire playboy who could have and do anything he wanted to someone who was hated by half the population and in constant danger, despite the best security team in the world. He and his children have been so maligned and not just by people who don’t like his politics but by a media that has facilitated that hate and projected it onto people who don’t even typically care for politics (Rush’s “low information voters”). He could have stayed out of the political arena and never subjected himself and his family to the vitriol but he willingly put it all on the line, making himself and his children social pariahs in the process, not because he needed to, but because he saw a need and he wanted to help his country. He actuallygave a damnand that’s not something I can say about most politicians and aspiring politicians.
I’m pretty sure I saw it, or something very similar, on a meme some time ago. It could use a “refresh”, but I’m not a meme anon.
Maybe the intrawebs is thedangerous animal. Or Maybe I’ve just been watching too much Mr. Robot.
