Chicago prosecutor Jim Murphy rips Kim Foxx

By Rich Calder

July 30, 2022 9:47am Updated

A veteran Illinois prosecutor reportedly slammed Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx in a scathing, office-wide resignation letter, saying her administration “is more concerned about political narratives and agendas than with victims and prosecuting violent crime.”

Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Jim Murphy added he “can’t continue to work for an administration I don’t respect,” according to the resignation letter obtained by Fox News.

Murphy’s last day was Friday, after 25 years of service. He cited numerous reasons for his departure, including the “Safe-T Act,” which requires prosecutors to present a higher burden of proof to hold accused criminals until trial.

“I wish I could stay,” he wrote. “However, I can no longer work for this Administration. I have zero confidence in leadership.”

Murphy, who supports eliminating cash-bail, also said Foxx’s office rushed the reform and that his concerns were ignored. And he cited “dangerously” low staffing levels in Foxx’s office, to the point where one or two-person courtrooms are now common.

“If this administration was truly concerned with effectively fighting violent crime, then they would fully staff those courtrooms and units,” he wrote. “Meanwhile the rest of us are overworked, overstressed, and under-resourced. But at least we were allowed to wear jeans in July.”

Foxx did not immediately return messages.

(How is this Soros tool still in this office? Oh yeah Lori Lightfoot, the daughter of an alien and ape)

Exclusive: In Private, Cassidy Hutchinson Joked About Riot, Called J6 Committee ‘Phony,’ Praised Trump Before Changing Story

Part 1 of 3

Nearly 18 months of private chats between friends from the Trump White House show that Jan. 6 Committee star witness Cassidy Hutchinson dramatically changed her story about what she knew and how she felt about what she witnessed as a White House staffer.

When Hutchinson testified in Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s Soviet-style show trial last month, the former White House aide to Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said she “still struggle[s] to work through the emotions” of Jan. 6.

“As an American, I was disgusted. It was unpatriotic,” Hutchinson said. “We were watching the Capitol building get defaced over a lie, and it was something that was really hard in that moment to digest.”

In her two hours of testimony, Hutchinson made a series of blockbuster claims incriminating former President Donald Trump, her White House colleagues, and even her direct superiors over their conduct as security at the U.S. Capitol was compromised by a horde of demonstrators. Relying on third-party conversations, Hutchinson claimed the president tried to violently hijack the presidential limousine to drive himself down to the rioters on Jan. 6. The claim was denounced as fabricated hours later. She said the president was aware that White House protesters were well-equipped with deadly weapons and still invited them onto government grounds anyway dismissing security concerns, never mind the fact that only a few face charges. And she said former White House Counsel Pat Cipollone personally warned her not to allow Trump to go to the Capitol or “We’re going to get charged with every crime imaginable.” Never mind Cipollone was not at the White House when Hutchinson claimed, according to multiple witnesses. Former White House lawyer Eric Herschmann also disputed another claim by Hutchinson, saying he wrote a note she took credit for.

Left-wing media outlets were quick to brand the 25-year-old aide as the show-stopping witness whose testimony was on par with the most devastating revelations from Watergate. The Boston Globe said that while some call her “the new John Dean” — the Watergate witness whose testimony harmed Richard Nixon — she was actually “more impressive.” CNN said Hutchinson’s revelations were “worse.” NPR called them “explosive.” The Bulwark called her a “heroine.” The Washington Post declaredher commentary “damning” and even illustrated her appearance in an online graphic novel. The New York Times published an op-ed headlined, “Cassidy Hutchinson Changes Everything.”

Yet in a series of private communications from December 2020 through May 2021, shared exclusively with The Federalist, Hutchinson commiserated with other targets of the probe about how little information she had about any wrongdoing that day, and lamented how corrupt the politicized committee was. Far from being upset with Trump, Hutchinson repeatedly spoke in favor of him and his presidency.

“I would rather shoot myself dead into the Potomac than see marine one flying around this city without 45 again,” Hutchinson wrote in one message nearly three months after the Capitol riot.

In November 2021, Hutchinson was among the first former White House staffers to be subpoenaed by the Select Committee. In the weeks and months following, Hutchinson continued to disparage the politicized committee in private, and repeatedly joked about the same riot she now says leaves her with emotional scars today. Six days after she was issued a subpoena, Hutchinson called the Jan. 6 panel a “phony committee.” Around the same time, she told a former colleague her testimony would have nothing to offer.

“Other than a handful of irrelevant texts, I have literally no documents or anything they’re asking about,” one ex-White House staffer texted her.

“Same,” she wrote back….

Of being subpoenaed in November, Hutchinson wrote, “we were [f—–] by Bennie Thompson,” the titular chair of the committee. She joked that he would be sending her to jail, and hoped that another friend would come visit her. In a text published by the Daily Caller earlier this month, Hutchinson called the panel’s probe “bs.”

In a group chat, a friend shared a tweet from another former White House colleague…

Exclusive: In Private, Cassidy Hutchinson Joked About Riot…

Part 2 of 3

Hutchinson praised the tweet, adding, “When we win again, we’re making her comms director Or press sec.” Back in December 2020, Hutchinson had been happy to use the phrase “STOP THE STEAL” to describe efforts to contest the 2020 election. A Jan. 5, 2021, tweet notes that she stopped by the Capitol, where Trump supporters had gathered. “Gotta see our PEOPLE,” she wrote. In dramatic contrast to her new claims of being “disgusted” with the Jan. 6 riot, in November 2021, she joked about trying to invade a friend’s apartment in a building called Park Chelsea. “Let’s have an insurrection at parc Chelsea,” she wrote. “How about … jan 6, 2023?”

By March, she was joking about placing a prominent image of Trump addressing his supporters from the White House Ellipse on Jan. 6 in the background of her Zoom-recorded deposition with the Select Committee. She also joked she might use an image from an infamous scene in the Oval Office where Vice President Mike Pence awkwardly sat between Nancy Pelosi and President Trump.

“I’m gonna position myself so I’m sitting in mike’s chair,” she joked.

In May, Hutchinson outlined a conversation she had with a stranger in D.C.

“A real conversation that just took place,” she began:

Before Their Public Embrace, A Different View Of Liz Cheney

Hutchinson also aimed fire at Committee Vice Chair Liz Cheney, the Wyoming Republican so consumed by her opposition to Trump and his voters that polls show she is about to lose her re-election bid. The two women publicly embraced in the committee room immediately after Hutchinson’s testimony, an unusual interaction for congressional proceedings purporting to be legitimate. In a gauzy puff piece for The New York Times, the two were described as forming an “unlikely bond.” It was particularly unlikely given what Hutchinson was saying about Cheney until recently.

In September, Hutchinson disparaged Cheney and Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, the two Republicans hand-picked to serve on the committee by Pelosi, as a “crop of losers.” Discussing how other anti-Trump extremists had declined to run for re-election rather than face certain defeat at the hands of Republican voters, Hutchinson said she didn’t think Kinzinger or Cheney would take that approach because, “Their egos are too [f——] big.” She mocked their self-conception as “The REPUBLICAN MARTYRS.”

“I think Liz being the ‘future of the GOP’ is a massive stretch,” Hutchinson wrote in one string of messages just two months before her appearance. “I think she does have the power to cement the anti-Trump, RINO movement and really capitalize off it on a national scale. She’ll never ever turn the tides in her favor. Ever.”

“Even if Trump were to fall off the face of the Earth, her neocon policies are not where the base’s ideological politics currently are nor will head,” she wrote. Still, she conceded that Cheney’s hatred of Trump had tremendous sway thanks to corporate media’s amplification and assistance. “But I do think this maneuver is by consequence ‘future-shifting’ for the GOP in that she does have the power of the media, the determination and the cut-throat mentality to capitalize off this.”

Less than one year later, Hutchinson was embracing Cheney, radically changing her story to match what Cheney and the corporate media desired.

Hutchinson’s earlier comments were made while she was represented by Trump-allied lawyers and talking with friends about Trump’s second term. But she suddenly changed her legal representation weeks before she testified publicly. Former Rep. Barbara Comstock, who, like Cheney, is a NeverTrumper from Northern Virginia, offered a way to help pay Hutchinson’s legal bills. But a well-positioned lawyer offered to represent her pro bono. The change in attorneys coincided with a complete turnabout in her story, and a dramatically different posture toward Cheney.

Alyssa Farah, the former Trump staffer who has been named The View co-host because of her willingness to denounce conservatives and renounce the policy positions she once claimed to hold, publicly said she was responsible for convincing Hutchinson to work with Cheney. “That’s how this shocking testimony came about,” she said.

Exclusive: In Private, Cassidy Hutchinson Joked About Riot…

Part 3 of 3

Before Attacking Mark Meadows, Capitalizing On His Connections

As former employees of Meadows, the group chat that Hutchinson was a part of frequently discussed him. In June 2021, CNN activist Jeremy Herb said that he’d asked the former White House chief of staff if it was appropriate for him to be emailing acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen regarding the election. Hutchinson and a friend mocked the idea that this was such a problem.

“Also however did Rosen survive the unbearable pressure campaign of … a few FWD emails saying ‘can you look at this,'” a friend wrote. “Lol dude I thought the same thing,” Hutchinson responded.

“I remember thinking in that moment, Mark needs to snap out of this, and I don’t know how to snap him out of this, but he needs to care,” Hutchinson claimed to think when she testified. She said he didn’t act on concerns about the Capitol attack.

Yet in March 2021, she was wondering if she should talk to him about using his connections to help her gain access to the Capitol Hill Club.

“At some point we should talk to mark about being tacked onto his CHC membership. I don’t know how it all works exactly, but I remember chris Cox did it for the Ola guys without a membership and they cut him a check each month for the guest fee (I think it was $150?) and whatever their tabs came out to (it’s charged to an account and paid in lump sum the 15th of each month),” she wrote.

From Not Caring What CNN Thinks, To Media Darling

The same media that would later celebrate Hutchinson had also drawn her ire in private before she testified on national television. A May 9, 2022, Newsweek article, “Jan 6. Committee using young Trump staffers to its ‘advantage’,” led one friend to complain to Hutchinson that the J6 Committee was “literally admitting that they’re abusing the lives of young staff for political gain.”

Hutchinson wrote that a series of tweetsadding commentary to a piece from Politico’s Kyle Cheney had her “red hot mad.”

“Time and again, the Jan. 6 select committee has broken through stonewalls erected by Donald Trump’s closest allies by turning to their junior aide and deputies,” Kyle wrote. “Nowhere is this clearer than in the case of Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson … The cooperation from aides like Hutchinson has given the select committee confidence they’ll be able to tell the full story of Trump’s attempt to subvert the election — even without help from Meadows, Bannon, Eastman and Clark.”

“I wanted to be like … the members LITERALLY told you they’re taking advantage of us … So shut the [f—] up and stop tweeting about me … leave me alone … there is no story here,” Hutchinson wrote in a series of messages.

When another friend joked that Cheney was portraying her as John Dean, she replied, “It’s honestly nauseating.”

Hutchinson claimed CNN’s Jim Acosta contacted her and said to her, “Thank you for your bravery and courage. We and the American people look forward to learning more from your testimony.” Hutchinson said she had “about twenty snarky responses typed to respond back but just let it go … Like stop WARPING everything you [f——] [j—–] … and also I couldn’t give less of a [f—] what cnn thinks of me. Truly.”

Within weeks, Hutchinson would be basking in the glow of effusive praise from Acosta and other partisans at CNN, many of whom described her as more important than CNN contributor John Dean.

Hutchinson did not respond to this story by press time.

German leadership blamed for stalled Ukraine aid

The Chancellery is the “narrowest point” that slows down arms deliveries to Kiev, a top German MP has said

The office of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is to blame for the arguably slow pace of weapons deliveries to Ukraine, the head of the Bundestag’s defense committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, has said.

“The narrowest point that slows down Germany’s military commitment is, for whatever reason, the chancellery,” the MP with the Free Democratic Party (FDP) said in an interview with the Bayern media group published on Saturday.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is set to continue, Strack-Zimmermann believes, and thus German politicians “should not relax” but should rather focus on speeding up the delivery of military aid to Ukraine. Berlin must fix the situation with the stalled deliveries by September-October, the MP warned.

The parliament, which is dominated by the so-called ‘traffic light’ coalition of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD), FDP and Alliance 90/The Greens, is ready to take “responsibility” for helping Kiev, she asserted.

“This House is the linchpin of decisions. That’s where the threads come together and that’s where the signals are sent. We Free Democrats and many other MPs from the traffic light groups are ready to take on the responsibility accordingly,” Strack-Zimmermann said.

While Berlin had previously sent thousands of portable anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile systems, ammunition, helmets and other equipment to Ukraine, it’s been lagging far behind Kiev’s top suppliers of heavy military hardware. So far, Germany has sent seven Panzerhaubitze (PzH) 2000 self-propelled howitzers and pledged a further three, and the Mars II, a European modification of the US-made MLRS M270 multiple rocket launcher.

It has also pledged some 30 Gepard anti-aircraft vehicles, the first of which were delivered this week. Earlier this month, however, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said that the country’s military stocks had limited capacity for sending weapons to Ukraine.

Despite the support demonstrated by Germany, Kiev – and former Ukrainian Ambassador Andrey Melnik in particular – have repeatedly criticized Berlin over what they have called a reluctance to send military aid to Ukraine and the overall slow pace of the deliveries.

Get the hell out of Russia,’ governor tells ‘Russophobes’ amid Norway scandal

Russophobia will not be tolerated, a Russian regional head said, commenting on a Norwegian diplomat’s xenophobic remarks

Russia will not tolerate Russophobia, Murmansk Region Governor Andrey Chibis said in a scathing Telegram post about a scandalous incident involving a Norwegian consul that took place in his region.

A video posted on Saturday by news outlet Mash showed Elisabeth Ellingsen, a consul stationed in the northern Russian city of Murmansk, swearing at the staff at a hotel. “I hate Russians,” Ellingsen says in English. “You know, I’m used to [staying in] clean rooms. I’m from Scandinavia, not some Russian woman.”

“We will not tolerate Russophobia in our country. Everyone who hates Russians should get the hell out of Russia,” Chibis wrote.

He echoed the remarks of Andrey Klishas, who chairs the committee on constitutional legislation and state building of the upper chamber of Russia’s parliament.

Also taking to Telegram, the senator urged the Foreign Ministry to expel Ellingsen, whom he described as “scum.”

The ministry’s spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned the Norwegian diplomat for her “hateful” speech, saying that Moscow is now “considering options on how to respond to this outrageous act of hatred, nationalism and xenophobia.”

Norway’s Foreign Ministry in a statement sent to RT on Saturday said that it “deeply regrets”the incident and that Ellingsen’s “sentiments”do not reflect “Norwegian policy or Norwegian attitudes towards Russia and Russian people.”It added that “the incident is being handled by the Ministry through the appropriate channels

Zelensky and US to blame for ‘bloodbath’ in Donbass – Russia

The Ukrainian leader and his Washington backers are guilty of shelling POWs, Russia’s Defense Ministry has said

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is personally responsible, along with the United States, for the fatal shelling of a detention facility in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed on Saturday.

According to the ministry’s statement, a missile strike using US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers on a prison near the village of Yelenovka killed 50 POWs, while 73 were hospitalized with severe injuries.

The ministry added that the remains of 48 Ukrainian prisoners of war were found and extracted from underneath the rubble, while two inmates succumbed to their wounds on the way to a medical facility.

“All political, criminal and moral responsibility for the bloodbath against Ukrainians is borne personally by Zelensky, his criminal regime and Washington, which supports them,” the statement reads.

Earlier this week, Eduard Basurin, the spokesman for the DPR's army, said that Kiev knew exactly where the POWs were being held, because Kiev “itself determined the place of detention.”

The DPR official also noted that the prison could have been targeted by Kiev in order to hide atrocities “after the Ukrainian prisoners of war began to talk about the crimes that they had committed on the orders of their commanders.”

The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the facility had held members of Ukraine’s Azov Battalion, whose fighters surrendered to Russian and Donbass forces during the siege of the Azovstal steel factory in Mariupol.

Kiev has categorically denied these allegations and claims Russia is responsible for the strike, saying that Moscow sought to blame Ukraine for committing ‘war crimes’.

Russia and allied forces have repeatedly accused Ukraine of shelling civilian infrastructure with various heavy weaponry, including HIMARS.

According to the Pentagon, as of July 22, the US has provided Ukraine with 16 M142 HIMARS systems, while the UK has delivered another three launchers capable of firing the same munitions. Last week, the Russian military said it had destroyed four of the rocket launching systems, a claim that was dismissed by Kiev as “misinformation.”

Communist leader would rather ‘shoot himself’ than work for US-backed president

The veteran Russian party leader revealed he had been offered a lucrative career opportunity by Boris Yeltsin, but turned it down

Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov has slammed Russia's first president, Boris Yeltsin, as the most “drunk and perfidious” leader the country has ever had. The veteran politician also claimed that Yeltsin had offered him “any” government post, but he turned it down.

Zyuganov made the remarks as he spoke at the Terra Scientia youth forum on Saturday, when one of the participants asked the party chief about his attitude toward, and the overall “relevance” of, the Yeltsin Center, a museum and educational platform commemorating Russia’s first post-Soviet leader. The center was opened in the Urals city of Yekaterinburg back in 2015 but since then has consistently drawn the ire of Yeltsin’s critics.

The communist leader blasted the existence of the Yeltsin Center, claiming he had repeatedly told Russia’s current president, Vladimir Putin, as well as fellow MPs in the State Duma, that the facility “had been deliberately erected for us by the Americans.”

Zyuganov also revealed that he and Yeltsin, a former Soviet Communist Party member himself, were neighbors once, and that at one point the president even offered him “any” government post, a proposal that he refused.

“I am embarrassed and ashamed to say, but I have never seen a more drunk and perfidious ruler in my life. Personally, he offered me any post. I said: ‘I would rather shoot myself than accept this. You betrayed the country, history, all the achievements of [our] fathers and grandfathers,’” Zyuganov said, apparently referring to the ex-president’s role in the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Yeltsin, alongside Ukraine’s first president, Leonid Kravchuk, and the speaker of the Belarusian parliament, Stanislav Shushkevich, signed the Belovezh Accords in December 1991, which formalized the disintegration of the Soviet Union. Yeltsin ruled Russia until 1999 before stepping down. He died in 2007 at the age of 76.

Kiev orders forced evacuation of Ukraine-controlled DPR areas

More than 200,000 people will have to leave their homes due to an alleged lack of heating

Kiev has ordered mandatory evacuations from the parts of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) that remain under the control of Ukrainian forces. Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk explained on Saturday the decision by saying that it would be impossible to provide the region’s residents with heating in the cold months.

Speaking during a national TV marathon, Vereshchuk, who also heads up what Ukraine calls the ‘Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories’, said that given the complete lack of gas supplies and widespread electricity outages, “there will be no heat in Donetsk region in the winter period,” and therefore about 200,000-220,000 residents will have to leave their homes.

"There is absolutely no gas supply in the Donetsk region, all the gas pipelines that could be repaired were repaired, but, unfortunately, the enemy destroys again and again everything that would help to warm people in winter,” she claimed.

Even before Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine, the DPR had been accusing Ukraine of targeting civilian infrastructure. With the launch of the operation, the bombings only escalated, as have the accusations from both sides.

Vereshchuk emphasized that the evacuation of households is “the duty of every adult member of the family.”

“For example, there are 52,000 of our children in the Donetsk region. They must be evacuated, they cannot be exposed to danger if left without heat and light in the winter,” the minister stressed.

Vereshchuk emphasized that mandatory evacuations are permitted under Ukrainian law and said that those who refuse to leave will have to sign a document confirming that they understand the consequences of their decision and take full responsibility for it.

Zaporozhye Region, 65% of the territory of which is without gas supply, may be the next to be evacuated, Vereshchuk added.

According to the minister, the authorities have taken all of the necessary measures to provide evacuees with accommodation and proper social services.

“There is an understanding of where these people will be resettled, in which regions, where their children will study,” she said.

On Friday, the government supported her ministry’s initiative to create a coordination center, which will supervise the evacuation from Donbass.

“Donetsk is now on the brink of a humanitarian disaster. Active hostilities continue there, the infrastructure is destroyed. People are not only at risk of coming under fire every second – it will not be easy to survive in the absence of light, heat, medicine and food in winter. The solution – evacuation,” the government said in a statement.

EU should ban all Russians from entry – Latvian foreign minister

The diplomat accused Russia of shelling its own allies’ detention center without providing any evidence

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics has accused Russia of shelling a detention center in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and called on the EU to suspend tourist visas for Russian citizens. Latvia has recently proposed a range of hardline measures against Moscow, including forcing ordinary Russians to denounce their government.

In a tweet on Saturday, Rinkevics accused Russia of the “brutal murder of Ukrainian POWs,” a reference to the fatal shelling of a detention center in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) on Friday. The facility held members of Ukraine’s neo-Nazi Azov Battalion who surrendered to Russian and Donbass forces in Mariupol in May. Fifty of these prisoners of war died in the strike.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said that the strike was carried out by the Ukrainian military using US-made HIMARS rocket launchers. The DPR authorities accused Ukraine of bombing the facility to stop the Azov prisoners from testifying about their unit’s alleged war crimes.

The US and UN have declined to blame either side for the strike, citing a lack of information.

Regardless, Rinkevics called on the EU to designate Russia a “state sponsor of terrorism,” something that the bloc has not indicated that it will do. In Washington, the US State Department has explicitly refused to apply such a label to Russia, as doing so would interfere with sanctions exemptions.

Rinkevics also called on the EU to impose a tourist visa ban on Russian citizens. Latvia has already enacted such a ban, as have several Eastern European states, including Poland. However, freedom of movement laws mean that Russians allowed into one Schengen Area country may then enter any of the other 25 states in the border-free travel zone.

Furthermore, while individual countries can restrict most kinds of visas, EU rules mean that visas must always be issued to certain categories of people, such as family members or journalists. A source in the European Commission explained this situation to Russian news agency Interfax on Friday amid discussion in Finland on imposing a complete visa ban on Russian travelers.

However, Latvia has already found other ways to restrict entry from Russia. Latvia’s State Security Service (VDD) told broadcaster LSM on Friday that foreigners entering the country from Russia or Belarus would face “increased scrutiny” at border checkpoints, in order to “identify persons who support Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.”

One woman told LSM that her husband – a Russian citizen and permanent resident in Latvia – had been asked to sign a document denouncing Russia as an “aggressor” or have his residency revoked. Moscow sent a protest note to Latvia condemning the use of coerced statements, but Rinkevics told LSM that Latvia would continue to employ such measures “in our security interests.”

Biden tests positive for Covid-19 again

The vaccinated and boosted president suffered a ‘rebound’ infection, his physician said

US President Joe Biden tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday morning, after apparently recovering from the virus and testing negative on Tuesday. Biden’s physician explained that he likely suffered a so-called “rebound” infection, which can affect patients taking Pfizer’s antiviral pill.

Biden’s positive test was announced by White House physician Kevin O’Connor, in a letter to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. In the letter, O’Connor noted that Biden had tested negative for the illness every day since Tuesday, but would re-enter isolation following Saturday morning’s positive result.

Prior to Tuesday’s negative test, Biden had worked in isolation in the White House for five days, while suffering mild symptoms.

Biden, who has been vaccinated twice and received two booster doses, also took Pfizer’s Paxlovid, an antiviral medication given emergency authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in December.

O’Connor noted that “a small percentage of” patients treating Covid-19 with Paxlovid are likely to suffer so-called “rebound Covid positivity” – where they seem to recover from the disease before falling ill again. In Biden’s case, the president has “experienced no reemergence of symptoms, and continues to feel quite well,” O’Connor wrote.

White House coronavirus czar Dr. Anthony Fauci also suffered such a reinfection when he treated his case of Covid-19 with Paxlovid in May.

Following his negative test earlier this week,Biden described Paxlovid as a “game-changer” in the fight against Covid-19, and urged Americans to obtain the pills from drugstores around the country.

Wait, wait, wait Trump called monoclonal antibodies, CHQ and Ivermection and was hounded to death, because he’s not a doctor, wheres all tge fucking outrage about Bidan saying that and still getting covid again?

Zelensky's elite battalion destroyed – Russia

Dozens of neo-Nazis have been eliminated over the last two days, including fighters from the Kraken formation, the military said

Russia’s armed forces destroyed an ‘elite assault battalion’ of the Ukrainian president and dozens of fighters from the notorious Kraken neo-Nazi formation, Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

Providing an update on the progress of Moscow’s military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov said that on July 28, at the Krasnoarmeysk railway station in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian military conducted a direct strike “with a high-precision air-based weapon” on a train transporting “an elite assault battalion of the 1st Separate Brigade of the President of Ukraine.”

More than 140 nationalists were killed on the spot. About 250 more militants received injuries of varying severity. All military equipment that was in the echelon was disabled,” Konashenkov stated.

The next day, in the area of Bogodukhov in Kharkov Region, Iskander missiles hit the hangars of a meat processing plant where the Kraken nationalist formation had set up a temporary base, according to the military spokesman. “More than 30 Nazis and 10 units of military equipment were destroyed.”

Kraken calls itself a special reconnaissance and sabotage unit under the Ministry of Defense, operating separately from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moscow has accused the battalion of committing several war crimes since the beginning of the conflict.

Also on July 29, Russian forces destroyed 30 Ukrainian servicemen, a warehouse with rockets for Grad combat vehicles, and military equipment in the settlement of Yasnobrodovka in the DPR. In the area of Artemovsk, according to Konashenkov, Ukrainian losses amounted to 50 servicemen and eight units of military equipment.

“In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 261 aircraft, 145 helicopters, 1,644 unmanned aerial vehicles, 361 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,190 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 772 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 3,217 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 4,573 units of special military vehicles,” the general said.

The Russian Defense Ministry does not provide regular updates on the numbers of Ukrainian or Russian losses. On July 4, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced that over the previous two weeks alone, Ukraine had lost almost 5,500 troops, including over 2,000 killed.

Ukraine strikes humanitarian convoy – official

Kiev used drones to attack civilian vehicles in the city of Energodar, a regional official claimed

Ukrainian combat drones destroyed cars that were part of a humanitarian convoy in the Russian-held southern city of Energodar early on Saturday morning, a local official has asserted.

“The cars had the markings of a humanitarian mission,” Yevgeny Balitsky, the top Russia-appointed official in Ukraine’s Zaporozhye Region, wrote on his Telegram account.

Balitsky said the overnight attack occurred on empty vehicles parked on the street and that there were no casualties. Three residential buildings, a grocery shop, a hotel and a dormitory were damaged, Balitsky said.

Both Russia and Ukraine have repeatedly accused each other of shelling civilian targets.

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state.

The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”

In February 2022, the Kremlin recognized the Donbass republics as independent states and demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.
