I actually agree with her on this. Maybe telling a truth benefited her most in this case. The fact of the matter is that the China threat(s) are much more significant than Russia’s are or ever have been. Taiwan is far more important than Ukraine, even if you take the whole premise of Ukraine being invaded by muh evil Putin for no reason (which I don’t). Taiwan may well be the reason an actual physical WWIII starts. Taiwan is theprecipice.

He previously lived in Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA and in Amherst, New Hampshire.
His late wife Candyce Nicole Horton Jakubonis was originally from Ludowici, Georgia, USA. They have twin children. After her death, his brother was granted custody of the two children.
In 1997,he graduated from McQuaid Jesuit High Schoolin Rochester, New York.
In January 2007, he joined the U.S. Army and served as a medical laboratory specialist.
From 2007 to 2008, he attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., USA where he earned an associate’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences.
From December 2008 to December 2009, he deployed to Iraq. A member of the 432nd Blood Support Detachment at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, he was mobilized and activated at Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin, USA for deployment overseas to a forward operating base in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
In January 2012, he received a medical discharge from the military. He held the rank of specialist (E4) at the end of service.
From 2012 to 2014, he studied criminal justice with aconcentration in psychologyat the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester.
On July 21, 2022, he attended a gubernatorial campaign event in Perinton, New York. While New York representative Lee Zeldin, then 42, was speaking about bail reform from the bed of a flatbed trailer during the event, he walked onto the trailer, approached Zeldin, extended a keychain with two sharp points toward Zeldin and grabbed Zeldin’s arm. He was arrested, charged with attempted assault in the second degree, arraigned in local court and released on his own recognizance.
He was 43 years old when he was arrested on July 21, 2022. On July 23, 2022, he appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Marion W. Payson in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York in Rochester where he was charged with assaulting a member of Congress with a deadly weapon. He is being held in custody pending a hearing on July 27, 2022.
