Corrupt Obama Judge Doesn’t Recuse Himself Then Gives Dr. Simone Gold Harsh Sentence After She Turned Him Down for Date in College

The judge in Dr. Simone Gold’s case once asked her out and was denied. Years later he sentences her to 60 days in prison for a public trespassing misdemeanor.

Julie Kelly reported that she received a statement from Dr. Gold before the doctor reported to prison. In the letter, Dr. Gold mentions that the judge in her case asked her out once in law school. She denied his request. He didn’t recuse himself from her case in spite of this. He berated her and accused her of not caring about the “5” people that died on Jan 6 [a lie – only four Trump supporters died that day]. Then he gave her over-the-top sentencing of 60 days in prison for a misdemeanor.

InfoWars reports:

“The government charged me as a criminal defendant due to being present at the Capitol on January 6, 2021,” Dr. Gold wrote.

She continued, “I found out that I was assigned to Judge Christopher Cooper. This did not mean anything to me. I believed he would have recused himself as we knew each other in law school.”

The doctor described interacting with Judge Cooper on “several” occasions during college.

“One was one time when we walked/talked for some time (perhaps two hours) and got some food,” she wrote. “I believe this was second half of first year. My recollection was we walked from the Law School to a common area (on campus). I don’t recall what we ate etc. I recall general conversation – that he was from the south, that he had gone to Yale, that he was ambitious.”

“The conversation was pleasant,” Dr. Gold admitted. “My impression was that he was cute and that he thought similarly of me. We had other brief ‘hello how are you’ pleasantries. The other interaction that stood out was a week, perhaps two weeks later. This was in the (outside) courtyard of the Law School and we were just talking. After about 10-15 minutes Casey asked me out again, this time a formal invitation to a dinner date, following our prior less formal interactions. This I declined. Just because I wasn’t interested.”

Again, the doctor said she assumed Judge Cooper would have recused himself.

Dr. Gold has no record. She was protesting peacefully in the Capitol and was let in by the Capitol police. She has two children and she works in the inner city ER to help inner-city families.

What is going on?

Below is the letter sent to Julie Kelly.

Judge Cooper also oversaw the recent Durham case on Michael Sussmann. He never should have overseen that case as well. His wife is Lisa Page’s attorney. He did all he could to help Sussmann in this case.

Doomed UK Trans Kids Clinic Left ‘Thousands of Damaged Children’ In Its Wake

The Tavistock Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS), England’s hub for child gender reassignment which has been ordered to close down, is said to have left “thousands of damaged children” in its wake.

Currently subject to an investigation as a result of whistleblowers, parents, and patients accusing it of rushing children, particularly girls, into medical treatment for supposed gender dysphoria, the Tavistock is now set to be shut down by Spring 2023 after the paediatrician leading the investigation announced some of her recommendations early — most notably that GIDS is “not a safe or viable long-term option” for its patients and should be replaced.

Reports by outlets such as The Telegraph are now looking back on 18 years of whistleblowing and complaints about the National Health Service (NHS) clinic and the way it resisted all efforts to make it change its ways all the way up to the High Court.

Some Tavistock clinicians were even accused of “converting” youngsters who were likely same-sex attracted or bisexual into believing they were actually trans.

The notionally right-leaning newspaper recalled how whistleblower Susan Evans had been fobbed off as long ago as 2004 after expressing worry that a 16-year-old boy had been referred for hormones after a mere four appointments. Another concerned clinician, Kirsty Entwistle, was branded “transphobic” for questioning the fact that an autistic girl enjoying Thomas the Tank Engine was used as evidence that she was trans.

Evans also highlighted the “tremendous pressure” the Tavistock was put under by trans activist lobby groups such as the controversial Mermaids organisation, which has campaigned for puberty blockers to be given to 12-year-olds and argued dubiously that their effects are “completely reversible”.

Indeed, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak, the Members of Parliament (MPs) currently vying to succeed the outgoing Boris Johnson as Conservative (Tory) Party leader and, by extension, Prime Minister, have responded to the Tavistock’s looming shutdown by hinting that they might ban the NHS from inflicting hormone therapy on gender-confused children outright, questioning whether it is safe to let them make such “life-altering” decisions at a young age.

“We have a responsibility to those under 18 to shield them from irreversible decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives. As Prime Minister, I would review access to puberty blockers to ensure we are maintaining the right checks and balances in the system to protect our young people,” said Truss, somewhat equivocally.

Sunak’s position was a little more forthright, with a spokesman for the former Chancellor of the Exchequer saying that “[c]hildren should not be rushed down irreversible medical pathways, and under-18s should be protected from life-altering treatments.”

Blinken Holds First Call With Lavrov Since February, Ceasefires Not Discussed

FM Lavrov pressed Blinken to ease sanctions on Russian food and fertilizer

During a news conference on Friday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced he held a call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on a potential bilateral prisoner exchange. A State Department official said the call lasted approximately 25 minutes. Washington and Moscow’s top diplomats discussed the Ukrainian grain export deal brokered by the UN and Turkey with Kiev and Moscow. Reportedly, also part of their dialogue was the role U.S. sanctions play in preventing the movement of Russian food supplies and fertilizer. This is the first time Blinken has spoken to Lavrov since February 15th, more than a week before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Five months into this war, amid the economic turmoil the American led sanctions blitz has caused, there is no indication that Blinken attempted to push for a ceasefire or negotiations to end the conflict.

The call appears to have primarily focused on a tentative deal for the release of two Americans that Russia has detained. Blinken described the call to reporters at the State Department as "a frank and direct conversation." Adding he "pressed the Kremlin to accept the substantial proposal that we put forth on the release of Paul Whelan and Brittney Griner." Whelan is a former US Marine who was charged and convicted on espionage charges, he is currently serving a 16-year sentence. Griner is a WNBA player who was arrested and is on trial for cannabis oil possession. She could face as much as a ten year sentence.

A source told Reuters that for the two Americans’ release, Washington is willing to exchange the Russian arms trafficker Viktor Bout. Bout is serving a 25-year prison sentence. The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement which says Lavrov told Blinken, in the future, Moscow would prefer to conduct such prisoner swap diplomacy in a more professional and quiet manner. Speaking at a news conference in Uzbekistan, Lavrov said talks on prisoner exchanges have been ongoing since last year’s summit in Geneva where Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin agreed to nominate officials to pursue the issue.

Exiled oligarch in Israel: Putin doesn’t want to annex Ukraine, but to destroy it

His company dismantled and friends imprisoned, Leonid Nevzlin has lived in Israel for 20 years. He hasn’t ceased criticizing the Kremlin – and sees some parallels in his new home

Next year Leonid Nevzlin will mark 20 years since his escape from Russia and immigration to Israel. When he fled Russia in 2003, Yukos, the oil giant at which he served as vice president, was forcibly broken up and Nevzlin’s associates were arrested and thrown into Siberian prisons on what many claim were trumped-up and politically motivated charges of fraud, embezzlement and money laundering.

Meanwhile, the Russian government demanded that Israel extradite Nevzlin, whom it accused of murder, several counts of conspiracy to commit murder and financial crimes. Israel has repeatedly refused.

Nevzlin has long been a vocal critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose government was behind the arrests and dismantling of Yukos. Earlier this year, he publicly renounced his Russian citizenship in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

I first met and interviewed Nevzlin in 2007, when his extradition back to Russia was still a very real possibility. Though the threats from Moscow haven’t ceased, he’s been able to establish himself as an influential businessman and philanthropist in his new home. He’s also been waging a legal war and an information war against Putin, whom he calls a “psychopath” and a “criminal.”

Nevzlin has for years claimed that Putin’s Russia operates like an organized crime ring and that cooperating with it endangers democratic and liberal agendas. Meanwhile, Western dependence on Russian oil, gas and economic trade continued to grow.

As bombs fell on Kyiv, and Ukrainian towns and villages were virtually wiped out, it appeared that Nevzlin sadly had been vindicated.

In an exclusive interview with Zman Yisrael, the sister site of The Times of Israel, Nevzlin describes his thoughts about Putin’s rise to power back in the ’90s, explains why the world can’t let Ukraine lose, and offers his thoughts on what brought Russia to choose authoritarianism again.

The interview was conducted in Hebrew and translated by the author.

Russia introduces sanctions against 32 New Zealand citizens

It was noted that the entry to the Russian Federation for the people on the list is closed indefinitely

Russia imposed sanctions on 32 citizens of New Zealand, including representatives of the command of the country's armed forces and journalists, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

"In response to New Zealand government sanctions that apply to an increasing number of Russian citizens - both officials and their families, as well as representatives of business community and media - 32 New Zealanders among heads of municipal bodies, law enforcement agencies, and journalists who form the Russophobic agenda in this country were added to the national stop list," the ministry said.

It was noted that the entry to the Russian Federation for the people on the list is closed indefinitely.

Left seeks to redefine terms like female, pedophile and even recession

The left and its allies in the media have long manipulated the meaning of words for political advantage. For instance, "illegal aliens" became "undocumented workers" in most news stories about a decade ago. But the war on words has been escalating as the left presses LGBTQ+ rights and seeks to obscure the reality of a Biden recession.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary, for instance, has changed the definitions for "female," "male," "they," "boy," and "girl" to fit with gender identity ideology. While these changes were made in 2019 and 2020, The Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh and conservative account Libs of TikTok posted tweets about the definition changes last week.

For "male" and "female," listed definitions include "having a gender identity that is the opposite of female" and "having a gender identity that is the opposite of male," respectively.

For "they," one of the definitions is "a single person whose gender identity is nonbinary."

"Boy" and "girl" are defined as "a child whose gender identity is male" and "a person whose gender identity is female," respectively.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, meanwhile, has updated its guidance on COVID-19 illness for "Pregnant and Recently Pregnant People." Instead of calling those who are pregnant "women," the page adopts the gender-neutral term "people" to blur the biological (as opposed to social) basis of male-female differences. Only once does the updated guidance mention "pregnant women" — although the studies it cites on COVID risks associated with pregnancy and childbirth freely refer to "women."

During Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination hearing, she said she couldn't define what a woman was because she wasn't a biologist.

In June, Walsh released a documentary with The Daily Wire entitled "What is a woman?" that sees the narrator travel the world to get an answer to the question. On release day, The Daily Wire's website experienced a DDoS attack, where hackers disrupt a website with bot traffic to prevent users from accessing it. Despite this, the film was the most-streamed in the history of the site, co-CEO Jeremy Boreing said.

Walsh was suspended from Twitter earlier this year for tweeting: "The greatest female 'Jeopardy!' champion of all time is a man. The top female college swimmer is a man. The first female four-star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man. Men have dominated female high school track and the female MMA circuit. The patriarchy wins in the end."

Twitter has also now banned the use of the word "groomers" on its platform. The term came into wide usage after opponents of Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill labeled the measure the "Don't Say Gay" bill, despite the legislation only banning developmentally inappropriate instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in public schools for grades K-3. Those mischaracterizing the measure were in turn labeled "groomers" by some supporters of the bill.

DOJ official named in FBI politicization allegations played role in Lois Lerner IRS scandal

Richard Pilger pushed idea of criminal prosecution of Tea Party groups' political speech, congressional evidence shows.

A senior Justice Department official recently flagged by a U.S. senator in an FBI whistleblower probe into alleged politicization of prosecutions played a key role in the Lois Lerner IRS scandal a decade ago in which conservative Tea Party groups were improperly targeted for scrutiny, government emails and congressional evidence shows.

Richard Pilger, the current chief of the DOJ Elections Crime Branch of the department's Public Integrity Section, engaged in discussions in 2010 and 2013 with Lerner and other IRS officials about ways to pursue criminal prosecutions of conservative nonprofits, the records show.

The discussion led the FBI, with Pilger's direct help, to obtain and review 1.1 million pages of documents from conservative groups and even ponder charging the groups with making false statements on their IRS applications as nonprofits because they had engaged in political speech activities, according to congressional investigators.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired then by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), concluded in 2014 that Pilger's discussions were part of a larger effort by the Obama administration to criminalize political speech by conservative groups that opposed the administration's agenda.

"These documents suggest that the Department actively considered prosecuting non-profit groups for their political activities," the final report concluded. "The Department went so far as to meet with the IRS about the investigation and to gather a 1.1 million-page database of information as potential evidentiary material. Even more astounding, the Department considered prosecuting non-profit groups for actions that are legal for 501(c)(4) groups under federal tax law — that is, for engaging in political speech."

File

December-2014-IRS-Report.pdf

The committee made public emails showing that in spring 2013 Pilger and Lerner discussed an idea Pilger had heard raised by a Democrat in Congress of bringing false statement cases against the conservative groups for the ways they filled out their IRS applications as 501c3 and 501c4 nonprofits.

"I got a call today from Richard Pilger, Director Election Crimes Branch at DOJ," Lerner wrote IRS colleagues in a May 8, 2013 email obtained by congressional investigators and Just the News. "I know him from contacts from my days there. He wanted to know who at IRS the DOJ folks could talk to about Sen. [Sheldon] Whitehouse idea at the hearing that DOJ could piece together false statement cases about applicants who 'lied' on their 1024s — saying they weren't planning on doing political activity, and then turning around and making large visible political expenditures.

"DOJ is feeling like it needs to respond, but want to talk to the right folks at IRS to see whether there are impediments from our side and what, if any damage, this may do to IRS programs."

The emails were first brought to light by a lawsuit a decade ago by Judicial Watch.

Zelensky Says Americans Must Sacrifice for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, fresh off receiving over $60 billion in military and economic aid from the US, told Piers Morgan that the domestic concerns of Americans are "nothing" compared to the needs of Ukrainians fighting for their lives and our help will not be "sufficient" until Ukraine "wins" the war.

Asked by Morgan earlier this week about the "growing number of Americans who don’t think the country should be spending so much money on a war in Europe when there are so many problems domestically," Zelensky responded:

"We are fighting for absolutely communal values. The war in Ukraine is still the war against those values that are professed in the United States and in Europe. Russian rockets can fly over a few thousand kilometers. And tomorrow they will have rockets that can cover tens of thousands of kilometers. What difference does it make? They kill civilians who do not agree with the politics of the president of Russia. So, this war here and now in Ukraine, and forgive me that I'm saying it so cynically, is for the safety of Europe."

"As long as we are resisting it, the integrity of the United States will continue, therefore we are giving our lives for your values and the joint security of the world. Therefore, inflation is nothing, COVID is nothing. Ask those people who lost their children, their peace, their property at the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. Who is thinking about masks and COVID? Who is thinking about inflation? These things are secondary. The most important thing is to survive and preserve your life, your family, and your country. Therefore, at the moment we are doing this job, but the West has to help us."

"Is there more America could be doing right now?" Morgan asked.

"As the president of a country that is in a war, I can tell you that the help would not be sufficient until the war is over, and until we win," Zelensky responded.

"Winning" in this case means his wife getting to be on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine in addition to Vogue.

Mom Sues Los Angeles School District after 13-Year Old Son Was Vaxxed Without Her Consent

She says her son was bribed with pizza and her signature was forged so he could take a COVID-19 vaccine without her consent. The boy reportedly suffers from asthma and a bleeding condition, which is why it was recommended that he decline COVID vaccines. His health conditions reportedly worsened after receiving the COVID vaccine. The woman who a administered the shot asked the child not to say anything because she did not want to get in trouble. The family's attorney says they are filing a lawsuit after a damage claim was ignored by both the school and the district.

Rainbow lights canned at Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance after staff receive tirade of hateful abuse

Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance will no longer be lit up in rainbow colours, after staff received a tirade of hateful abuse.

The solemn shrine, a striking symbol honouring the sacrifice of everyone who has served, was set to be bathed in rainbow light as a celebration of LGBTIQ+ personnel in the armed forces.

But plans for the colourful display on Sunday have now been cancelled after staff received "sustained abuse and threats".

"If we'd served they would have been celebrating us, instead they're condemning us because of our sexuality," Shrine CEO Dean Lee told 9News in a statement.

"We have seen something of what members of the LGBTIQ+ community experience every day. It is hateful.

"In the interests of minimising harm, we have given this matter careful consideration."

Yvonne Sillett from the Discharged LGBTQIA+ Veterans Association said she was "shattered" by the decision.

"It meant so much to me as a gay veteran but I think for the whole community, it's something which no war memorial has ever done," she told 9News.

The colourful display would have coincided with a special last post service at dusk and the opening of a new exhibit Defending with Pride, which includes stories from past members like Yvonne Sillet.

Novavax vaccine contains 1 mcg of insect (the fall armyworm) and baculovirus proteins and a bit of their DNA too, which is injected into you with each dose. And that's before we consider the Matrix-M novel adjuvant it contains

You see, the vaccine’s spike protein is grown by genetically engineering baculoviruses to produce spike, and then infecting insect cells with the baculovirus to turn the whole thing into a spike protein factory.

At the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices meeting that I live-blogged last week, it was revealed that the Novavax vaccine was being rolled out because it could be marketed as a “more traditional” vaccine, since it was not made from mRNA. Novavax was to be directed to the unvaccinated, although only 10% of the unvaccinated, it was anticipated, would accept it.

The fact that no fetal cells were used in its development was claimed to be a marketing plus. However, thanks to a reader, it turns out that a human fetal cell line, (HEK) 293F, was used in the testing of the vaccine, as described in an article in Science.

NOTHING about this vaccine is traditional.

First, the Novavax company does not own a manufacturing plant, so the vaccine being distributed in the US is made at the Serum Institute of India.

Second, the adjuvant, Matrix-M (a nonspecific, potent immune stimulant) has never been used before. It is made from the Quillaja saponaria tree. There is another adjuvant that is only used in one (highly reactogenic) US vaccine, Shingrix, which is an extract from this tree. This GSK adjuvant, named ASO1B, contains QS-21, a single extract in the Shingrix vaccine.

The problem is that we don’t know what extracts from the tree are included in Matrix-M. The information is proprietary! The Matrix-M adjuvant uses two unspecified “fractions” from the Q. saponaria tree, and there exist no data on its safety. (Matrix-M does not contain QS-21, although the company sometimes implies it does, to distract from its novelty.) These two fractions, combined with phospholipids and cholesterol, form the 40 nanometer particles of Matrix M.

While the tree extracts are potent immune stimulants, all those characterized also have significant toxicity.

Third, in addition to getting 5 mcg of spike protein in every dose, you will receive 1 mcg of residual amounts of baculovirus and Sf9 cell proteins (≤ 0.96 mcg), and baculovirus and cellular [from the fall armyworm] DNA (≤ 0.00016 mcg), according to the FDA.

So, you are getting an additional 20% protein of insect and baculovirus origin in addition to the 5 mcg of spike protein, in each of your two doses.

FBI Continues to Cover Up and Block Requests for Information Related to Seth Rich

Seth Rich worked at the DNC in Washington DC in 2016. He was reportedly a Bernie supporter. After DNC emails were released to WikiLeaks, Seth Rich was mysteriously murdered.

To this day we still don’t have good information on Seth Rich’s murder. He was shot in the back twice in the early morning near his home. He died later in the hospital. The police recorded the event as a robbery and yet Rich’s phone, wallet, and personal items were with him when the police arrived.

Some people suspect Rich was the source of the emails that went to WikiLeaks before the 2016 Election related to Hillary and her corrupt actions over many years. These emails were ignored by the corrupt mainstream media but were shared on social media at that time.

A short time after Seth Rich’s death, the Russia collusion story was created. It’s also suspected in certain circles that the Russia collusion story was created to keep eyes off of Seth Rich’s murder.

The FBI denied any information or files related to the Seth Rich murder. But that was not true and eventually, the information was found.

Attorney Ty Clevenger is still trying to get at the government’s records regarding Seth Rich and it is still almost impossible. Clevenger’s efforts have helped uncover records to date but because of the FBI’s dishonesty to date with the FOIA requests on Rich, Clevenger wanted to be able to observe the FBI’s review in this case.

This ruling from the Seth Rich FOIA case is disappointing. Judge Mazzant denied Clevenger’s request for in camera review of the documents withheld by the FBI, but he has not yet ruled on the motions for summary judgment, so he could yet order the FBI to search in other places such as email systems. He also took some swipes at the FBI:

It is alarming that in two cases involving substantially similar FOIA requests, the Government can locate zero relevant documents in one, but over 20,000 potentially relevant pages in the other. Moreover, when Congress created FOIA, “it did not intend for production to take years.” Huddleston, 2021 WL 327510, at *3 (citing Hayden v. DOJ, 413 F. Supp 1285, 1289 (D.D.C. 1976)). Yet, here, the Government has spent over two years processing and reviewing records in an attempt to respond to Huddleston’s requests. And despite that amount of time, the Government maintains that the process is “still ongoing.” Even so, while the Court certainly finds the Government’s handling of Clevenger’s and Huddleston’s FOIA requests concerning,

Huddleston’s arguments are insufficient to suggest bad faith for the purpose of determining whether in camera review of all relevant documents is necessary.

Unfortunately, Clevenger will have to keep fighting to get to the truth behind the FBI’s involvement in the Seth Rich case.

Court Rejects Google's Attempt to Dismiss Rumble's Antitrust Lawsuit, Ensuring Vast Discovery

An unusual and significant court ruling entitles YouTube's main competitor, Rumble, to obtain long-hidden internal documents on Google's search engine manipulations.

A federal district court in California on Friday denied Google's motion to dismiss a lawsuit alleging that the Silicon Valley giant is violating federal antitrust laws by preventing fair competition against its YouTube video platform. The lawsuit against the search engine giant, which has owned YouTube since its 2006 purchase for $1.65 billion, was brought in early 2021 by Rumble, the free speech competitor to YouTube. Its central claim is that Google's abuse of its monopolistic stranglehold on search engines to destroy all competitors to its various other platforms is illegal under the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890, which makes it unlawful to “monopolize, or attempt to monopolize…any part of the trade or commerce among the several States, or with foreign nations.”

It is rare for antitrust suits against the four Big Tech corporate giants (Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon) to avoid early motions to dismiss. Friday's decision against Google ensures that the suit now proceeds to the discovery stage, where Rumble will have the right to obtain from Google a broad and sweeping range of information about its practices, including internal documents on Google's algorithmic manipulation of its search engine and the onerous requirements it imposes on companies dependent upon its infrastructure to all but force customers to use YouTube.

Founded in 2013, Rumble began experiencing explosive growth in the run-up to the 2020 election. Americans were encountering escalating and aggressive Big Tech censorship of political content as the election approached. Conservative politicians, followed by a wide range of heterodox voices on the right and left, began migrating by the millions away from Google's YouTube to Rumble, which has promised and thus provided far more permissive free speech rights. That was at the time when Google and other Big Tech platforms — at the urging of the Democratic-controlled Congress, began aggressively increasing its censorship of political video content on YouTube on the grounds of “disinformation” and “hate speech.”

Iraqi protesters storm parliament again

Hundreds of protesters breached the parliament for the second time in a week as anti-government unrest continues

A large crowd of protesters stormed Baghdad’s heavily-guarded Green Zone and broke into the Iraqi parliament again on Saturday. The demonstrators were expressing their dissatisfaction with “the corrupt political class” and a candidate for prime minister whose nomination some ten months following the last federal election prompted a political crisis.

Protesters were seen using ropes to bring down large concrete slabs surrounding the Green Zone, a district housing government buildings and foreign missions, including the US embassy, footage from the scene shows.

Iraqi security forces fired water cannons, tear gas canisters and stun grenades at the crowds yet ultimately failed to repel them, and the protesters poured into the parliament building.

“All the people are with you Sayyid Muqtada,” the crowds were heard chanting, referring to popular Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr. The protesters were seen carrying Iraqi flags and portraits of the cleric.

“We came today to remove the corrupt political class and prevent them from holding a parliament session, and to prevent the Framework from forming a government,” a protester told AP, referring to a political alliance known as the Coordination Framework, which recently nominated former governor and minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani for prime minister.

Unlike the Framework alliance, which is composed of parties closely aligned with Iran, al-Sadr’s movement has long opposed any foreign influence in the country, including from both Iran and the US.

While the cleric has distanced himself from politics, he remains influential and his faction took a large share of Iraq’s 329-seat parliament during federal elections last October. However, the faction exited government formation talks in June, giving the Framework alliance the majority needed to move forward with the selection of a prime minister following some ten months of political uncertainty.

Saturday's breach was the second such incident within the span of a week. On Wednesday, scores of al-Sadr’s followers stormed the Green Zone and entered the parliament building to protest the same issues of an allegedly “corrupt” political class and the controversial PM candidate.

Father of JonBenet Ramsey says he'll sue if state doesn't allow DNA testing on crime scene evidence

Case has gone unsolved for over 25 years.

The father of slain Colorado child JonBenet Ramsey said this week that he is threatening to sue the state of Colorado if officials will not let an independent lab run DNA tests on evidence in its files.

JonBenet was found murdered in her family's Boulder, Colo. home in late 1996. The murderer has never been apprehended, and suspicions have swirled in the intervening 25 years regarding the killer's identity, including whether or not it was one of the six-year-old girl's family members.

JonBenet's father, John, told Fox News this week that he would "pursue legal action" if Colorado would not hand over evidence in the case to be tested by a third-party DNA laboratory.

"There was a case in Florida that I read about a couple years ago, and the family [sued the state] and were successful," Ramsey told Fox News Digital.

"The judge said, ‘Okay, you guys aren't calling this a cold case, and it's a cold case. Let's turn over the evidence and move on.' And that's our next step if we don't see any progress," he added.

JonBenet's mother, Patsy, died in 2006 from ovarian cancer.
