You are carrying/delivering shit for clowns in america. Your landing gear fails and you know you will be surrounded and investigated when you crash land. Like a dealer flushing the coke, co-pilot jumps up and starts tossing goods out of the plane and falls out.

If they just wanted him dead, there are lots less conspicuous ways that don't draw as much attention. When spooks toss people from planes, its usually over dense forest/jungle/oceans.

So the question is what were they carrying and where is it now?
