"With Trump working to clear out the DC swamp, which would have possibly included rogue assets from within the FBI, these reprobates from within the agency knew that the laptop could possibly Biden’s chances.
Having lost the opportunity in 2016 versus Clinton, they probably knew they had to bury the Hunter Biden laptop story, which they, along with big tech and the mainstream media succeeded in, at least initially.
If we had a Congress that was more interested in ensuring the integrity of our government instead of about protecting their political hide, there would be a push to find the underlying cause of the Hunter Biden laptop coverup. If the House can initiate a January 6 commission, they sure as hell have more than enough cause to initiate a congressional investigation into the Biden laptop.
If we had a Department of Justice with an attorney general with a lick of integrity, there would be a special counsel appointed. In other words as Davidson recommends, “the FBI and the Justice Department need to give Grassley everything he asked for.”
A significant portion of the American people have lost all faith in the FBI and Department of Justice. Neither can hope to restore that faith and confidence if they stand by and let these rogue agents get away with it.
The only hope for any type of query is if Republicans regain control of the House in November. If they do, and if the allegations outlined in Grassley’s letter are true, then someone needs to be held to account and those individuals need to be extricated from the FBI and if necessary, prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The issue is of course that all of this was allowed to happen, and one would have to be naĂŻve to think it happened without getting the blessing of someone way up top, possibly to the director level.
If that is in fact true, the FBI is not salvageable and the agency should be disbanded. Davidson says disbanded or defunded…we say the latter won’t make a difference. Time to start over. And take DHS and the CIA while you’re at it."
