the last sunspot group that was face the earth has now rotated around the backside, looks active, and will be named 2711 or (2712).
we are overdue for a Carrington event.

you missed my point. I personally don't have any way to gauge the strength of a solar storm, have to depend on what NASA provide.
just sayin, would be perfect cover if not really bit, just report as such, localized or widespread satellite comms or grids could be tweaked.
