China reacts to Pelosi landing in Taiwan

The US house speaker’s visit is a violation of the ‘One China’ policy and the country’s sovereignty, Beijing says

Beijing has “strongly condemned” the US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan, criticizing her “disregard of stern warnings” from China.

In a statement issued shortly after the high-ranking US official’s plane landed on the island on Tuesday afternoon, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the country will take “measures” to protect its sovereignty.

“This is a serious violation of the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-US joint communiqués. It has a severe impact on the political foundation of China-US relations, and seriously infringes upon China's sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.

The visit of the top official “undermines peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait, and sends a seriously wrong signal to the separatist forces for ‘Taiwan independence’,” the ministry added, urging Washington not to “go further down the wrong and dangerous path.”

The ministry also warned of unspecified “measures” Beijing was set to take in light of Pelosi’s visit, squarely blaming the potential consequences of it on Washington.

“China will definitely take all necessary measures to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity in response to the U.S. Speaker’s visit. All the consequences arising therefrom must be borne by the U.S. side and the ‘Taiwan independence’ separatist forces,” it said.

China firmly opposes and sternly condemns this, and has made serious démarche and strong protest to the United States.

Following days of uncertainty over her visit, Pelosi touched down on the island late on Tuesday in spite of repeated warnings from Beijing against the visit. The island nation, regarded by Beijing as an integral part of China, was not listed among the official destinations of the speaker’s Asian tour, which included Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan.

The visit, the first time in 25 years that a House speaker has traveled to the self-governed island, has prompted a sharp increase in military activities in the region. Over the weekend, China staged live-fire military drills off the coast of the southeastern province of Fujian, just across the strait between the mainland and Taiwan. Further drills in the area are set to take place this week. The US deployed into the region the USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group, which is currently to the southwest of Taiwan in the waters east of the Bashi Canal, which separates the island and the Philippines.

Maricopa County Patriots in 2020 were forced to use a sharpie on their ballot — but only on election day — which was later discovered to cause paper bleedthrough.

When the polls opened this morning, the printers were not working, and some voters were reportedly handed slips of paper with a phone number to call. They were also told to visit a different polling location if they wanted to have their vote counted.

Corruption at the Top of the SEC Runs Deep, Former Director Hinman Went Against SEC Ethics Attorney’s Directives to Make Millions for Himself and China

Gary Gensler is the current head of the SEC. He was formerly Hillary’s campaign CFO and is tied into the Durham investigation. The former Director of Corporate Finance of the SEC under then Director Jay Clayton, Bill Hinman, was involved in what are now considered criminal activities related to cryptocurrency activities with China.

These people are above the law. No agency is safe. They all seem to take advantage of their positions to make money and stomp on the little people.

TGP noted previously that Genzler the current head of the SEC was Hillary’s attorney when millions of dollars were flowing and with some paying for the Trump-Russia lie. It is difficult to believe that Hillary’s CFO (Chief Financial Officer) didn’t know about the millions leaving her campaign related to a Trump-Russia lie.

However, the past Director of Corporate Finance at the SEC also has a questionable history. William Hinman, was right in the middle of the cryptocurrency surge. We now know that the entire crypto market has been built around criminal behavior at the SEC, picking winners and losers, yet not one in Congress has called for an investigation of the SEC.

Hinman, it turns out, received a letter from the top SEC ethics attorney telling him in January 2018:

you have a bar under the criminal financial conflict with Simpson because you have an ongoing financial interest in the firm. Meeting with them while having such a conflict is not permitted…Even calls with them are not permitted.”

Hinman actually had a multi-million dollar interest in the firm and it turns out he had meetings with Simpson later in August of 2018.

The Simpson Thatcher law firm was a member of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance (EEA). Ethereum is a cryptocurrency. Hinman was not permitted to meet with Simpson Thatcher and yet he did. At the same time, Hinman put together a speech where he gave Ethereum a non-security designation. This designation makes Ethereum more like a currency and it, therefore, doesn’t have to comply with burdensome investment-related registration mandated by the SEC.

(Many believe that Ethereum is more of a security than other cryptos like XRP will ever be. XRP has a purpose while Ethereum has none. XRP is designed to replace the swift currency system between banks. Ethereum has no such purpose.)

Simpson Thatcher also was connected to the IPO of Chinese company Canaan, a Chinese company that sells Ethereum and Bitcoin mining hardware.

Former SEC Director Hinman gave Ethereum and Bitcoin a regulatory free pass as currencies, over all other cryptocurrencies. This helped his own multimillion-dollar interests as well as Chinese interests in Ethereum and Bitcoin.

AG Brnovich, Losing BIG In US Senate Race, Sends Letter To Senate President Karen Fann Regarding Status Of Deceased Voter Registrations

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich sent a letter to Arizona State Senate President Karen Fann on Monday to give notice that he has closed his criminal investigation into dead voters in the 2020 election.

Evidence of hundreds of thousands of illegal, fraudulent, or questionable votes from the Maricopa County audit was hand-delivered to AG Brnovich, and he has still done nothing about the crime of the century.

The “2000 Mules” documentary also presented evidence that hundreds of illegal ballot mules in Phoenix, Arizona, funneled over 200,000 illegal ballots into the 2020 Election.

On April 6th, Brnovich released his first “Interim Report” on the Maricopa County 2020 Election, which revealed many horrible things. The report stated that “between 100,000 and 200,000 ballots were transported without a proper chain of custody.” This was an election-changing law violation.

However, there was no sense of urgency to get to the bottom of 2020, and nothing ever came of the findings..

The new report claims that evidence of deceased voters is “insufficient and not corroborated.”

But why should we believe anything he says now?

US responsible for Ukrainian ‘war crimes’ – Russian MoD

Advising Ukraine on what to strike with US-supplied arms makes Washington complicit in committing atrocities, Moscow argues

Washington bears “political, criminal, and moral responsibility” for “war crimes” committed by the Ukrainian military, Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Tuesday. The statement came in response to an interview by a top Ukrainian spy, who revealed that Kiev consults with Washington before using US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and that Washington actually has veto power over decision-making.

“All this irrefutably proves that Washington, contrary to the statements of the White House and the Pentagon, is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine. It is the Biden administration that is directly responsible for all the Kiev-approved missile attacks on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in the settlements across Donbass and other regions that caused mass civilian casualties,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov has said.

According to Moscow, US-supplied HIMARS systems have repeatedly been used by Kiev forces to target facilities that were not legitimate military targets. Arguably the most dire recent example of this strategy was an attack on a penal colony in Elenovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was housing Ukrainian POWs, including fighters with the notorios neo-Nazi Azov regiment. The attack left at least 50 prisoners dead and another 73 injured.

Pennsylvania Dept. Of Education Will Start Teaching 3-Year-Olds To Reject Gender Stereotypes

PA schools are encouraged to host "gender-neutral" days to cover progressive gender and sexuality beliefs.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education has released new protocol across the state’s school system where teachers must call students by their self-identified pronouns in the classroom.

Pronoun options such as “ne, ve, ze/zie and xe” are listed as gender-neutral terms students can force Pennsylvania teachers to utilize.

The education department’s website has a page called “Creating Gender-Inclusive Schools and Classrooms,” which overviews pronouns students can choose to be addressed by.

“In addition to the traditional pronouns (he/him, she/her, they), some people prefer to use gender-neutral pronouns, such as ne, ve, ze/zie and xe. If you don’t know a student’s preferred personal pronoun, it’s always best to ask,” the site reads.

Another part of the education department’s site rejects the idea that gender is “binary”, calling it a “faulty concept that there are only two genders: male and female.”

Pennsylvania educators will be encouraged to go over the website’s progressive content during “gender-neutral day,” where students as young as three years old will learn about challenging traditional gender norms.

During the day, teachers will make students “pick two to three ways they will reject gender stereotypes for the day.”

The PA Dept. of Education cites a 2013 article called “The Gender Spectrum” as a resource for progressive gender teaching.

“The Gender Spectrum” says “some kids know their gender identities and birth sexes don’t match almost as soon as they begin to talk” and that 3-year-old children are able to identify themselves as gender-fluid.

Conservatives have been outraged by this far-Left teaching.

“This is part of a national effort in schools to ‘break the binary’ by confusing young children about biological sex and indoctrinating them into believing that gender is a spectrum,” said Erika Sanzi, the director of outreach at Parents Defending Education.

“The Department of Education should delete these ideology-based resources from their website and anyone teaching gender fluidity to 3-year-olds does not belong in a classroom,” Sanzi added.

Major U.S. news outlets including CNN, CNBC, and the Associated Press recently met with Chinese Communist Party propagandists flagged by the U.S. government for seeking to “malignly influence” U.S. politics, The National Pulse can reveal.

Bureau chiefs for the Associated Press, CNN, and CNBC took a meeting with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), which is part of China’s billion-dollar “United Front” effort.

The United Front aims to “to co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party” and “influence foreign governments to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies,” according to the federal U.S.-China Security and Economic Review Commission – U.S. government initiative from 2018.

United Front groups such as the China United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) have used tactics including free trips to China to garner “favorable coverage” from mainstream media outlets according to Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) filings.

The CPAFFC has been dubbed the “public face” of the United Front Work Department and “avowedly an arm of the party-state” in addition to being flagged by the U.S. State Department for its campaigns to “directly and malignly influence” American officials and business leaders.

Journalists met with the President, Lin Songtian, at the group’s Beijing headquarters on July 26th, 2022.

As a press release from the group’s Chinese-language website reveals, the meeting “enhanced mutual understanding and friendship”:

“On July 26, President Lin Songtian met with Mori Tsijian, Director of the Greater China News Department of the Associated Press (AP), Jiang Xin, the Beijing Bureau Chief of CNN, and American Consumers at the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The two sides had a candid and friendly exchange of views on China’s domestic and foreign policies, China-US relations, non-governmental exchanges between the two countries and issues of common concern, which enhanced mutual understanding and friendship.”

26 Republican Senators Sign Statement Supporting Pelosi’s Taiwan Visit

Twenty-six Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), signed a joint statement on Aug. 2 announcing support for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan and reaffirming that the trip did not change the United States policies regarding China and Taiwan.

Sens Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Dan Sullivan (R-Ark.) led the effort to sign the document, following Pelosi’s arrival in Taipei Tuesday.

“We support Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan,” the statement said.

“For decades, members of the United States Congress, including previous Speakers of the House, have traveled to Taiwan. This travel is consistent with the United States’ One China policy to which we are committed. We are also committed now, more than ever, to all elements of the Taiwan Relations Act.”

Pelosi’s much-anticipated trip to Taiwan has been months in the making. In recent weeks, however, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leadership began to issue increasingly bellicose and erratic threats about the trip, falsely claiming that it would be a violation of Chinese sovereignty.

CCP leader Xi Jinping warned President Joe Biden last week that the trip was “playing with fire,” and some in China’s state-owned media issued calls to shoot down Pelosi’s plane.

The White House maintains that there is nothing out of the ordinary about the Speaker’s trip, and noted repeatedly that Congressional delegations visit Taiwan without incident with some frequency.

“The Speaker has the right to visit Taiwan and the Speaker of the House has visited Taiwan before, without incident,” said White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby on Aug. 1. “As have many members of Congress, including this year.”

“Put simply, there is no reason for Beijing to turn a simple visit, consistent with long-standing U.S. policy into some sort of crisis or conflict, or to use it to increase aggressive military activity in or around the Taiwan Strait.”

Likewise, the Republican statement issued Tuesday underscores that there is no change to the United States’s longstanding policies and norms of behavior regarding China and Taiwan.

The CCP considers Taiwan to be a breakaway province that must be united with the mainland and has not ruled out the use of force to accomplish such. Taiwan, for its part, has been self-governed since 1949, has never been controlled by the CCP, and has an independent democratic government and thriving market economy.

The United States does not maintain formal diplomatic ties with Taiwan and formally acknowledges, but does not endorse, China’s claims. The United States is, however, bound by the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act to provide Taiwan with the arms required to defend itself from outside aggression, including from the mainland.

Paul Pelosi DUI court date set for Wednesday — while Nancy is in Taiwan

As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi leads a delegation on a high-stakes visit to Taiwan that has roiled relations between China and the US, her husband will appear in court on DUI charges more than 6,000 miles away.

Paul Pelosi, 82, is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning on charges of driving under the influence causing injury and driving with a .08% blood alcohol level or higher causing injury, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

Paul Pelosi was arrested on May 28 after a man driving a 2014 Jeep crashed into Pelosi’s Porsche as he left for his and his wife’s vineyard after attending a dinner party.

The DA said Pelosi has not been ordered to appear in person and may be represented by an attorney who can enter a plea on his behalf.

Across the Pacific, Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan has alarmed China, which has responded by sending warplanes and ships across the imaginary maritime dividing line between the two countries in the Taiwan Strait.

23 infants hospitalized in Tennessee for parechovirus, CDC warns

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is warning doctors about the spread of parechovirus, a common viral infection that can cause severe illness among infants younger than three months.

From April 12 through May 24 of this year, 23 infants were admitted to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, to be treated for parechovirus, according to a report from the CDC.

On July 12, the CDC issued a health advisory to clinicians and public health departments to make them aware of the circulating parechovirus.

Though parechovirus (or PeV) is common among children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old, it can be more severe for infants, causing sepsis-like illness, seizures and meningitis or meningoencephalitis, the CDC said.

In its health advisory, the CDC said parechovirus has no set treatment, but proper diagnosis might change doctors’ management strategies for the illness in infants.

Jeff Bezos’ Megayacht Forced to Flee in Middle of Night to Escape Egging from Locals

The controversial megayacht of Amazon’s climate-crazy boss Jeff Bezos appears to have avoided an egging while sneaking through Rotterdam.

The incomplete megayacht of Amazon tsar and notorious climate crazy Jeff Bezos appears to have managed to sneak through Rotterdam last night without being egged, despite having drummed up massive controversy over plans to dismantle a city landmark to get the huge craft out to sea earlier this year.

Soon to be the largest megayacht ever built, the vessel earned the ire of local Rotterdammers after it was announced that a historic bridge would have to be partially dismantled to allow the ship built in a local yard to reach the sea due to the ship’s abnormally large masts, with many locals threatening to egg the vessel as it travelled through the city.

While this plan was subsequently dropped, according to a report by specialist website Schuttevaer, it appears that significant care was nevertheless taken to transport the vessel without upsetting the locals, with the incomplete ship reportedly taking an unusual, longer route to another shipyard, piquing the interests of enthusiasts.

The vessel is also reported to have started its journey at 3am, traversing through the dead of night to reach the Greenport Rotterdam Shipyard, where it is due to be completed.

People filming the unfinished ship’s maiden voyage meanwhile describe having searchlights aimed at them by workers, seemingly in an attempt to prevent them from filming or taking pictures.

“When I was standing on one of the bridges, they shined a searchlight on me, so it wasn’t easy for me to take pictures,” Der Spiegel reports one enthusiast as saying, who speculated that the strange route the ship took, as well as the time of the transfer, were both intentional to avoid pictures being taken of the vessel.

Drug Cartel: Pfizer Shatters Profit Records, Continues Raising Prices on Taxpayer-Funded, Liability-Free Products

Pfizer’s Q2 earnings numbers parallel that of a top 5 global energy company. Of course, the slight difference here is that energy companies actually provide essential services for human flourishing, while Pfizer provides, well, government-backed snake oil.

This quarter, the drug company posted a total revenue of $27.7 billion, up 46.5% from $18.9 billion the same period of last year.

Net income is up 78% to $9.9 billion this quarter, from $5.5 billion in Q2 of 2021.

While many Americans are struggling to put food on the table, Pfizer’s taxpayer-supplied profits almost doubled year over year.

Notably, none of Pfizer’s profits come from free market activity.

More than half of all Pfizer sales, and all of its profits, come from its expired mRNA gene therapy injections and Paxlovid. The outfit has fully transformed into a COVID-19 company. Without COVID Mania, the rest of Pfizer’s product line would see the pharma giant without any income this year.

Business is booming for the taxpayer-funded, liability-free drug company. Just last month, the Biden Administration signed a deal with Pfizer that hiked the price of more than 50% extra per dose for Pfizer’s next batch of mRNA shots.

Troops dump $100 million per year into Defense Department-owned slot machines

Just giving your hard-earned pay back to the government.

Because hundreds of billions of dollars in an official budget apparently isn’t enough, the Defense Department has been raking in roughly $100 million a year from service members using official U.S. military slot machines overseas.

According to a report from NPR, there are more than 3,000 U.S. military-run slot machines at American installations overseas. And while people cannot legally enter most casinos in the U.S. until they’re 21, service members as young as 18 can use the Pentagon’s slot machines.

The machines are managed by each military branch’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) groups. MWR groups tend to focus on service members’ home lives, family resilience, and general wellness. The Army MWR website, for example, provides resources for everything from child and youth services and soldiers’ financial challenges, to substance abuse and recreational activities like camping and sports.

And according to one Pentagon spokeswoman who spoke to NPR, the slot machines contribute “significantly to the non-appropriated fund and many other recreation and entertainment overseas programs.” Never mind the massive budget the Defense Department receives, which reached $773 billion total in the most recent request submitted in May.

Of that request, $1.8 million is meant for the department’s MWR programs, which the Pentagon’s budget overview says improve service members and their families’ quality of life. A total of $9.2 million was requested for various family support programs, including child care and youth programs, family services, Defense Department schools, and MWR programs.

“As the Department continues to reshape its forces for current and future missions,” the overview says, “it is committed to sustaining a balanced portfolio of family assistance programs that are fiscally sustainable and continue to promote service member and family readiness.”

Some veterans said the slot machines on-base reduced the chance for service members to get into trouble off-base in their free time. One Navy veteran said he spent “hours in front of the slot machines,” and rarely lost or won more than $50.

“I don’t see where that is really going to create an issue,” the veteran, Ed Grabowski, told NPR. “I could drop $50 in a pinball machine.”

But experts raised concerns about the impact gambling could have on service members. The National Council on Problem Gambling estimated that roughly 4% of troops “meet the criteria for moderate to severe gambling problems,” which is two times the national average, NPR reports.

“Everything we know about military personnel — that they tend to be young, male, risk-takers, likely to be suffering from higher rates of substance abuse, stress, depression, PTSD or traumatic brain injuries — is conclusively correlated with problem gambling,” NCPG’s executive director, Keith Whyte, told NPR.

Dr. Timothy Fong, co-director of the Gambling Studies program at UCLA, said that he met service members who became addicted to gambling in part because of the “easy access to slot machines” while stationed overseas.

“My concern is they’re managed by the DOD — not by a public health institution or by groups that regulate gambling,” Fong said.

Amidst a growing emergence of cases across the country, state officials in Indiana confirmed late last week that two children had tested positive for monkeypox. At this time, no additional information has been made available due to patient privacy concerns, the Indiana Department of Health wrote in a statement.

“Like many other states, Indiana has seen an increase in monkeypox cases over the past month,” State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box said in a statement.

Federal officials had previously confirmed, last month, that two other children in the U.S had tested positive for monkeypox.

One case was confirmed in a toddler, who is a resident of California, and the other was reported in an infant, a non-U.S. resident, who was tested while traveling through Washington, D.C. The two cases are unrelated, located in different jurisdictions, and were likely the result of household transmission.

Although no information is available about the current status of the virus-positive children in Indiana, both of the other children, who have been diagnosed with monkeypox, were said to have been in good health.

However, there are concerns among health officials about how monkeypox could impact young children.

Over the weekend, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned in a health alert that there is some preliminary evidence to suggest children younger than 8 years-old could develop more severe illness, if infected with monkeypox.

Boy Scouts Ruling Threatens $250 Million Abuse Deal With Mormons

The Boy Scouts of America may be forced to cut $250 million from its proposal to set up a trust fund for sex abuse victims after a judge rejected a key provision of a deal the youth group signed with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The complex ruling by US Bankruptcy Court Judge Laurie Silverstein forces the Boy Scouts to return to the bargaining table with some of the groups funding the $2.7 billion fund, including the religious group known colloquially as the Mormon church.

Silverstein handed the Boy Scouts a partial victory Friday when she rejected arguments that a settlement with abuse survivors was not negotiated in good faith. The judge did not give final approval to the proposed trust fund plan, however, instead she rejected a number of key provisions. One example is Silverstein’s refusal to grant the church a so-called third party release that would have given the church broad legal protections from all sex abuse claims, not just those involving the Boy Scouts.

“The TCJC settlement stretches third party releases too far,” Silverstein wrote. Such releases have been attacked by members of the US Congress and advocates for sex abuse victims and people harmed by addictive prescriptions drugs.

A representative for the church declined to immediately comment.

The Boy Scouts will also need to change the complex rules governing how much each abuse victim would collect under the plan because of Silverstein’s decision. The judge sided with holdout insurance companies lead by American International Group Inc. when she refused to declare that the rules, known as trust distribution procedures, are “fair and equitable.”

The Boy Scouts “have decisions to make regarding the plan and need sufficient time to determine how to proceed,” Silverstein wrote.

Those decisions include whether to try to get a new deal with the Mormon church.

“We are committed to working with all constituents to make the necessary changes required by the ruling to drive this process forward and we remain optimistic about securing approval of a final Plan as soon as possible” the Boy Scouts said in an emailed statement.

The decision came after a weeks-long trial ended earlier this year in Wilmington, Delaware. Silverstein listened to testimony from abuse experts, financial advisers and insurance specialists over whether it would be fair and legal for the Boy Scouts to route those abuse claims to the compensation fund instead of allowing them to proceed in court. The fund would compensate 82,000 people who claim they were molested while part of the 112-year-old organization.

Her complicated ruling was almost 300 pages long and included more than 750 footnotes.

For the Boy Scouts to exit bankruptcy oversight, they need Silverstein to approve their proposed reorganization. The plan is based on the trust fund and the lengthy procedures it would use to determine how much each victim is entitled to receive.

Silverstein said she would hold a court hearing on the status of the reorganization after the Boy Scouts have reviewed her detailed ruling.

Judge refuses to remove Visa from Pornhub child porn lawsuit

A federal judge ruled Friday that Visa helped Pornhub “monetize child porn” and sex trafficking — a decision that could have long-lasting implications for credit card companies, legal observers say.

The court denied Visa’s motion to be dropped from a lawsuit against porn parent company MindGeek, ruling there was enough evidence to show the company “knowingly provid[ed] the tool used to complete the crime” of distributing child pornography.

The decision was made in connection with a suit filed by a woman who claims Pornhub dragged its heels after she warned it was hosting an explicit video taken of her when she was 13 — at one point requiring photographic evidence that she was the same child in the video.

After several weeks, the clip, entitled “13-Year Old Brunette Shows Off For the Camera,” was taken down but reuploaded on other MindGeek sites in 2014, garnering millions of views and earning the company advertising money facilitated by Visa, the victim alleged. The illicit clip was still on the company’s sites as recently as 2020, according to the suit.

The plaintiff fell into a deep depression, tried to kill herself and became a heroin user after her unwanted infamy, she claimed. Still underage, she began acting in other porn videos produced by an older man to support her habit, the lawsuit said.

In his ruling, US District Court Judge Cormac Carney wrote that there was enough evidence to find that Visa engaged in a criminal conspiracy with the online pornographers.

“Here is Visa, standing at and controlling the valve, insisting that it cannot be blamed for the water spill because someone else is wielding the hose,” Carney wrote.

“When MindGeek decides to monetize child porn, and Visa decides to continue to allow its payment network to be used for that goal despite knowledge of MindGeek’s monetization of child porn, it is entirely foreseeable that victims of child porn like Plaintiff will suffer the harms that Plaintiff alleges,” the ruling said.

The Central District of California court also ordered MindGeek to undergo jurisdictional discovery and shine a light on its shadowy operations, which the judge said ensures “a hopeless whack-a-mole situation for victims.”

It also shot down Visa’s argument that it was an innocent third party, saying the credit card company briefly suspended its ties to Pornhub in 2020 amid allegations it housed thousands of illegal videos before joining forces again.

Australian senator condemns ‘evil’ Great Reset agenda driven by the World Economic Forum

Malcolm Roberts warned that there are sitting Australian senators who support the Great Reset, and thereby 'threaten our privacy, freedom, and dignity.'

Australian Senator Malcolm Roberts on Wednesday slammed the World Economic Forum (WEF)’s “Great Reset” plans, arguing they would drag Australians into economic “slavery,” and in fact are already being carried out.

During a speech in Australian Parliament, the One Nation party member ripped policies such as dependence on “unreliable” solar and wind energy as harmful to Australia’s economy since, according to Roberts, they drive up energy and electricity prices, which in turn has “destroyed jobs.”

Roberts suggested that such “fairytale” energy policies, as well as the Reserve Bank of Australia’s inflationary practice of “conjur[ing]” money “out of thin air,” are part of the WEF’s plans for the Great Reset.

The WEF has indeed called for “swift action” to accelerate a “sustainable energy transition” for the entire world to include transitioning to solar and wind power. The globalist group also supports quantitative easing, a way of increasing the money supply, which Roberts believes is “driving” inflation in Australia.

Roberts called on members of Australian Parliament to “work together” to remedy Australia’s economic problems, and further warned of sitting senators who support the Great Reset, and thereby threaten basic cherished Australian values.

“Instead of working together to push Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum plan based on United Nations policies, work together instead for our country. Klaus Schwab’s ‘life by subscription’ quote is really serfdom. It’s slavery,” said Roberts, referring to the WEF’s proposal that we may be able to rent “everything [we] need in life,” and therefore will “own nothing.”

“Billionaire globalist corporations will own everything: homes, factories, farms, cars, furniture, and everyday citizens will rent what they need if their social credit score allows,” Roberts continued.

“The plan of the Great Reset is that you will die with nothing. To pull off this evil plan, Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum will need to take more than just material possessions from Australians. Senators in this very chamber today who support the Great Reset threaten our privacy, freedom, and dignity. Yes, they’re in this senate chamber,” Roberts said.

He further declared that One Nation “vehemently opposes” Australia’s “Digital Identity Bill.” Australia’s digital identity proposal, being echoed across the globe, would open the door to social-credit score-based restrictions on personal freedom, as is already occurring in China.

Roberts announced that his party would be “rolling out” in the coming months an alternative to the Australian Labor Party’s push for “Klaus Schwab’s Great Reset with the tagline, ‘you will own nothing and be happy.’”

One Nation, by contrast, “has a comprehensive plan to bring our beautiful country back to sustainable prosperity,” Roberts said.
