I had sort of a … well not a fantasy, coz I don't want to see that much destruction of innocent life … just call it a hypothetical scenario.
Russian 100MT torpedo sub surfaces in the Potomac River, just upwind of DC. Broadcasts an ultimatum that if attacked, or if Russia is attacked, it will immediately launch. Has a list of demands, which if not met, also result in a launch. The demands are: disclosure of Covid data, election data, the withdrawal of NATO, etc.
Call it a movie plot. Anyway. That fallout cloud would drift all the way up into New England.
