Since the bread in which I brought up the topic was deleted, I'll ask here.

Have rumors about water treatment chemicals being contaminated with snake venom ever been verified or debunked by anyone we would consider reputable?

If so, how might one go about finding out if a given batch of treatment chemicals or the water supply being treated has been contaminated?

Oddly, this might make some sense in the case of extreme swelling, based on something I experienced last week. I went to see a doctor about a jammed pinkie finger that was still bothering me after a few months. Seems trivial, but I'm a touch typist and a would-be musician. The doctor said we could either leave it alone or fuse the joint.

But before I left, he wrapped the finger in a self-adhesive bandage that was a bit tight. I left it on for a couple of days. When I took it off, the finger was much better and was much less swollen.

Luke 22:36

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Luke 22:38

And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

John 18:10

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

Dr. Bryan Ardis has not backed off that theory. He's done plenty of research on it. Early documents speculated that COVID-19 had something to do with snakes, but those statements got fact-checked. Bat stories were left alone.

Someone in the family is required to chlorinate a well. This person just reported having COVID a second time. Both times this person developed COVID, they had been doing something with the water system. Yesterday, they added chlorine to the well.
