Trans Redditor Was Behind US Supreme Court Justice Assassination Attempt
Newly-released court documents have revealed that the California man behind an assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh identified as transgender and used the name “Sophie” on social media. Nicholas John Roske, 26, was indicted on charges of attempted assassination on June 15.
Roske traveled from Simi Valley to Chevy Chase, Maryland on June 8 with the intention of murdering Justice Brett Kavanaugh at his home. At approximately 1 a.m., Roske pulled up to Kavanaugh’s home with a black suitcase that included a legally purchased Glock 17 pistol and ammunition, tactical gear, pepper spray, a thermal monocular, a laser, and burglary tools.
Kavanaugh’s home had been under secure monitoring by U.S Marshals in wake of the Roe v. Wade leak. After exchanging a glance with one of the Marshals, Roske phoned the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center and told the call taker that he was having suicidal thoughts and was carrying a firearm in his suitcase. Roske also told the emergency center employee that he had come from California with the intention of killing a Supreme Court Justice.
Montgomery County police officers were dispatched to the location and arrested Roske, who then told a detective that he was upset about the leaked Supreme Court draft decision on the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which had secured abortion as a constitutional right.
In the weeks leading up to the failed assassination attempt, Roske was soliciting information on how to commit murder from forum members on Reddit and within Discord servers.
FBI agents discovered a conversation that took place over Discord dated May 25, 2022, between Roske and another user. Roske, who was using the screen name “Sophie42,” revealed that he was plotting to carry out a triple homicide.
“I could get a least one, which would change the votes for decades to come, and I am shooting for 3,” he wrote.
The court documents, filed at the US District Court in Maryland, revealed the would-be assassin was active in multiple Reddit communities and claimed to identify as transgender in multiple posts. On an unspecified date in April, Roske posed a question to users on women’s subreddit r/TwoXChromosomes, asking: “Would Kavanaugh being removed from the SC [Supreme Court] help women long term?”
Under the username u/AmericanNick, Roske posted personal ads requesting the company of women and claiming to be a trans-identified male.
“I am a 24 year old [sic] MtF college graduate looking for a woman to cuddle and watch movies with… If this turns into making out, etc that’s cool,” Roske wrote in a subreddit for singles in the Seattle area.
In r/GamerPals, Roske advertised for “girls only,” and wrote a personals ad titled: “F4F [female for female] 25 PST Trans Gamer Girl Seeking Friend.” Roske would also get into a debate on a post made on the a masturbation abstinence subreddit r/NoFap to defend pornography from users who were critiquing its harmful effects.
Writing in the forum r/SerialKillers, Roske asked members “which serial killer was the most careful?” before going on to explain: “by most careful I mean planned things out, very conscious of leaving evidence, purposefully trying to avoid having a pattern.”
He would also ask questions on how a serial killer might commit crimes without leaving evidence, claiming the question was for a book he was writing.
While Roske would claim his motive for seeking to assassinate Supreme Court justices was based in concern for women’s reproductive rights, his Reddit history shows he has been fascinated with the concept of murdering people long before the Roe v. Wade leak.
In December of 2021, Roske posed a question to the r/AskReddit community, asking what the implications of “7 million random people” dying might be.
The search history on Roske’s phone for the period of May 5 to June 8 included the following terms and phrases: “quietest semi auto rifle,” how to be stealthy,” “assassin skills” and “most effective place to stab someone.”
Additionally, he told another person he planned to “remove some people from the Supreme Court” in order to “stop roe v wade [sic] from being overturned” in a disturbing forum conversation revealed by the search warrant.
Reddit moderators have begun deleting incriminating posts made by Roske, but the activity can be seen in archived logs.

Last week, a transgender cheerleader was kicked out of camp at Ranger College following allegations that she assaulted another camper.
Parents say the cheerleader choked the camper out in a physical assault, but the cheerleader says the parents are uncomfortable with her being transgender, and that there was never a physical altercation, only a verbal disagreement on both sides.

KTAB and KRBC talked to the cheerleader, Averie Satchell, the parents of the camper, identified only as Karleigh, parents of other campers who witnessed the incident, and obtained copies of the criminal citation filed, as well as a statement from the college.

Head of Georgia Senate Research Office faces child porn charges
Police have charged the interim director of the Georgia Senate Research Office with two felony counts of child pornography.
Alexander Azarian, 52, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual exploitation of a child and possessing child pornography.

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A man who works with lawmakers in the Georgia State Senate is accused of sharing child pornography.
Alexander Azarian is accused of sending and receiving sexual messages with minors since 2007.
Azarian served as interim director of the Georgia Senate Research Office.
“Last week, the Senate was notified of the arrest of a current employee, Alex Azarian. He has been suspended indefinitely and a new interim director has been named. As the investigation continues, all relevant staff members will continue to cooperate with relevant law enforcement agencies,” Georgia Senate Research Office Chief of Staff Steve Tippins said in a statement.
Channel 2′s Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell tried to speak with Azarian at his home in Smyrna, but no one answered the door.
Residents who live in Cobb County are shocked to learn about the charges.
“It’s a horrible thing. It’s disgusting. There needs to be some sort of vetting process, a better vetting process than what’s in place. These types of things shouldn’t happen by these people in these positions. If there was some sort of way that we could screen these individuals a little better we could maybe eliminate some of this,” said Christopher Brantley, who lives in Cobb County.
According to the arrest warrant, Yahoo contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about an email account sending and receiving child sexual abuse images since 2007.
Investigators said Azarian admitted the email address belonged to him but wanted to speak with an attorney when he was asked about child sex abuse.
Police searched Azarian’s home last week after securing a search warrant, and said they found images of child sexual abuse on Azarian’s cellphone.
Azarian has since been released from jail on a $70,000 bond.

CIA should respond to speculation regarding human trafficking, Jeffrey Epstein
During episode #1850 of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” released on July 29, podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan made a powerful claim about convicted, and now deceased, sexual abuser and trafficker of women and children, Jeffrey Epstein.
Rogan said, “Whoever was running it — whether it was the Mossad, or whether it was CIA, or whether it was a combination of both — it was an intelligence operation. They were bringing in people and compromising them.”
This statement gained national media attention, and I thought to myself, “Has anyone ever asked the CIA directly whether Epstein was involved with it?”
The question isn’t beyond the pale, and many have considered the idea both publicly and privately over the years. Eric Weinstein, physicist, podcaster, and managing director of Thiel Capital, has repeatedly asked about connections between Jeffrey Epstein and intelligence communities.
“It’s been about 20 years that I have been saying Epstein was a construct of the intelligence community," Weinstein tweeted on August 2 in response to the New York Post article about Rogan’s statement. "I want to know if I have been wrong for two decades. What I do know is that I have never seen a single story directly debunking this. Which, if you think about it …”
Back in February 2020, Weinstein had likewise tweeted, “Could any one of the journalists following me call up the CIA, NSA and State Department spokespeople and ask 'Was Jeffrey Epstein known to the US government to be a pedophile with ties to any foreign or domestic intelligence agency?' and simply print whatever happens next?”
On Father’s Day of this year, he took to Twitter again, encouraging people to keep the pressure on and demand answers.
“One wish for Father’s Day: That every Dad [w/a] daughter ask one simple question: 'Why are our news organizations not asking whether Jeffrey Epstein was a state sponsored Intelligence agent of one or more nations whose trafficking of little kids was protected as ‘Sources&Methods'?'”
Members of the press have also explored whether Epstein's infamous human trafficking operation had ties to government organizations. On July 15, 2021, Rolling Stone published a piece called, “Was Jeffrey Epstein a Spy?”
Even an attorney for Epstein trafficking survivor Virginia Giuffre asked Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell about these connections during a 2016 deposition. Maxwell responded that she had “no recollection.”
This time, I decided to take the question directly to the CIA myself. My initial email to the CIA Office of Public Affairs asked about the statement from Joe Rogan specifically and said, “I only have one question, does the CIA use human trafficking or child sexual exploitation in any way as part of any US intelligence operations?”
I received a response requesting that I call and ask the question over the phone. I politely asked for a written response. The agency returned with a statement from CIA spokesperson Tammy Thorp: “This suggestion is not only unequivocally false, but absurd and offensive to the CIA officers who risk their lives every day to defend the American people.”
I replied, “This is great news to hear something so unequivocal! Am I therefore to understand by the strength of your response that no members of any of the US intelligence sub-communities would knowingly allow an intelligence asset of any nation to knowingly engage in human trafficking or child sexual exploitation on American soil?“
This was their final reply: “As a matter of policy and US law, CIA promptly reports any such crimes of which it becomes aware to US law enforcement authorities. We stand strongly behind the below statement. For any queries regarding members of the US Intelligence Community beyond CIA, we would refer you to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.”
CIA spokesperson Tammy Thorp may have found the inquiry “absurd and offensive,” but I find many actions taken by her organization to be abhorrent and offensive. The CIA has been known to use torture tactics, inflame wars and unrest, experiment on citizens, and more, causing despair in the name of national security — Google Operation CONDOR, if you have doubts. I don’t think that it’s beyond the realm of possibility that the CIA would use children or adults for exploitation in this way. The American people deserve an answer.
The CIA also has a history of sex crimes against children within its own ranks. On December 1, 2021, Jason Leopold and Anthony Cormier published a piece for BuzzFeed News entitled, “Secret CIA Files Say Staffers Committed Sex Crimes Involving Children.” This piece has haunted me and left me with more questions than answers. If the CIA is not defending child sexual abuse survivors, then what are they defending?
I’m not the only individual who has had these questions about the CIA/Epstein/child sexual exploitation link. Eric Weinstein, who admits that he met Epstein years ago, has been asking, as has Rolling Stone, Zachary Rogers of the National Desk, and now Joe Rogan. And the CIA has never adequately responded to any of their questions or speculation. I’m a survivor of human trafficking myself, so I am eager to find the truth.
Intelligence communities use the umbrella of national defense both to justify unsavory tactics to gather information and to obscure what those tactics are. If we are a nation that allows the torture, abuse, and death of innocent people, what is it we are really defending? The American people deserve transparency about what is being done in their name and the assurance that their national values are being upheld within the organizations that are tasked with defending them.
As long as the government remains reluctant to publicly share details of the Epstein case — including co-conspirators, clients, and intelligence community involvement — we will keep asking these questions. From public figures like Joe Rogan and Eric Weinstein to trafficking survivors like myself, we will not be silent and we will not give up.

The “monoclonal neutralizing antibody” developed at the Israel Institute for Biological Research “can neutralize it inside carriers' bodies,” Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said
Israel has isolated a key coronavirus antibody at its main biological research laboratory, the Israeli defense minister said on Monday, calling the step a “significant breakthrough” toward a possible treatment for the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “monoclonal neutralizing antibody” developed at the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR) ”can neutralize it (the disease-causing coronavirus) inside carriers' bodies,“ Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement.
The statement added that Bennett visited the IIBR on Monday where he was briefed ”on a significant breakthrough in finding an antidote for the coronavirus“.
It quoted IIBR Director Shmuel Shapira as saying that the antibody formula was being patented, after which an international manufacturer would be sought to mass-produce it. The IIBR has been leading Israeli efforts to develop a treatment and vaccine for the coronavirus, including the testing of blood from those who recovered from COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the virus.
Antibodies in such samples - immune-system proteins that are residues of successfully overcoming the coronavirus - are widely seen as a key to developing a possible cure.
The antibody reported as having been isolated at the IIBR is monoclonal, meaning it was derived from a single recovered cell and is thus potentially of more potent value in yielding a treatment.
Elsewhere, there have been coronavirus treatments developed from antibodies that are polyclonal, or derived from two or more cells of different ancestry, the magazine Science Direct reported in its May issue.
Israel was one of the first countries to close its borders and impose increasingly stringent restrictions on movement to hamper the domestic coronavirus outbreak. It has reported 16,246 cases and 235 deaths from the illness.”
