A family of four was killed when their small plane that was on fire crashed in Wisconsin Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The Cessna 182T plane carrying the pilot — a grandmother — her daughter, and two granddaughters was headed to Monroe Municipal Airport from Kenosha when the crashed happened after noon, Green County Sheriff Mark Rohloff said at a press conference.
The four women died at the scene. Their identities haven’t been released.
A caller reported they heard the plane was losing power and saw flames coming out of it as it was trying to land near the airport, the sheriff said.
