578 views • Jun 2, 2022 • St. Louis Board of Aldermen president Lewis Reed and two other public officials—Aldermen Jeffrey Boyd and former Alderman John Collins-Muhammad on Thursday were indicted by a federal grand jury on federal corruption charges.
The charging documents allege the three men accepted cash payments and other gifts in exchange for proposed tax breaks and development project approvals in the city's north side.
All three officials entered not guilty pleas.
