DENVER (KDVR) — A recount for Colorado’s secretary of state has been completed, and embattled former Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters did not close an 88,000 vote gap between her and frontrunner Pam Anderson.
According to final tallies from the Secretary of State’s Office, Peters gained 13 votes, but so did Anderson. Mike O’Donnell gained 11 votes in the recount, but the vote changes had no impact on the original outcome of the election.
