Are class action lawsuits actually effective?
For example Sony OtherOS.
Company removes advertised feature.
Class action lawsuit
"very effective"
Results:
everyone got 2 cheap old games for free, and possibly a few dollars that's it
OtherOS not reinstated (you would expect that to be the case)
lawyers got a bit more out of it than the average Joe
Is that like safe+effective in lawsuit form?
