CDC Claims Link Between Heart Inflammation And COVID-19 Vaccines Wasn't Known For Most Of 2021

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has claimed that there was no known association between heart inflammation and COVID-19 vaccines as late as October 2021.

CDC officials made the claim, which is false, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request for reports from a CDC team that is focused on analyzing the risk of post-vaccination myocarditis and pericarditis, two forms of heart inflammation. Both began detected at higher-than-expected rates after COVID-19 vaccination in the spring of 2021.

The team focuses on studying data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a passive surveillance system co-run by the CDC and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The date range for the search was April 2, 2021, to Oct. 2, 2021.

“The National Center for Emerging Zoonotic Infectious Diseases performed a search of our records that failed to reveal any documents pertaining to your request,” Roger Andoh, a CDC records officer, told The Epoch Times. The center is part of the CDC.

No abstractions or reports were available because “an association between myocarditis and mRNA COVID-19 vaccination was not known at that time,” Andoh added.

Both the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are built on messenger RNA (mRNA) technology.

Pride Event in PA Featured a Stripper Pole Where They Taught Kids How to Pole Dance

Video of a young boy spinning around a stripper pole at a ‘pride’ festival in Pennsylvania on July 30 was making the rounds on social media this week.

A shirtless man wearing tiny shorts helped the boy, who was dressed in a rainbow tutu, climb the stripper pole.

“Central PA Pride had a pole set up with an amazing instructor to assist. My kiddo is a natural!” the child’s guardian or parent wrote in the caption on the TikTok video.

The video was deleted by the original poster, but ‘Libs of TikTok’ posted the clip to Twitter.

The Democrat Governor of Pennsylvania put out a letter in support of the pride event.

“It is my honor to join with the Pride Festival of Central Pennsylvania to celebrate their thirtieth anniversary,” Governor Tom Wolf wrote.

Israel calls Pentagon over Gaza strikes

The defense chiefs of Israel and the US discussed the ongoing offensive in Gaza

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz held a phone conversation with his American counterpart Lloyd Austin on Friday night to update him on the objectives and progress of the ongoing military offensive in the Gaza strip, dubbed ‘Operation Breaking Dawn.’ While the IDF claims it took out senior terrorists, Palestinian officials say dozens of civilians were killed or injured.

“Minister Gantz emphasized that the State of Israel is working to defend its citizens, and will operate decisively and with as great precision as possible against terror operatives and infrastructure in order to reach its objectives,” Gantz’s office said in statement about the call.

Israeli jets struck an apartment building in Gaza earlier on Friday, eliminating Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander Taysir al-Jabari, while an additional 10-20 PIJ operatives were targeted with missiles and artillery.

Palestinian officials say that at least 10 civilians were killed in the strikes, among them a five-year-old girl. Another 55 were reported injured.

In retaliation, Palestinian militants fired dozens of rockets at Israel, warning that a wider offensive would follow. Air raid sirens could be heard across southern Israel for hours, as air defenses were activated to intercept incoming projectiles.

Gantz previously announced that he had authorized the call-up of some 25,000 reservists, while IDF spokesman Ron Kochav told Channel 12 that the operation against PIJ would “take a long time.” In his own address to the nation on Friday evening, Prime Minister Yair Lapid used similar terms, saying that the battle “will take as long as it takes.”

“Israel will not sit idly by when there are those who are trying to harm its civilians,” Lapid stated. “This government has a zero-tolerance policy for any attempted attacks – of any kind – from Gaza toward Israeli territory.”

The latest escalation began when Israeli forces arrested PIJ’s West Bank leader, Bassem Saadi, in the city of Jenin on Monday. A Palestinian teenager was killed in the raid on Saadi’s home, triggering outcry across the Palestinian territories. As the PIJ placed its fighters on high alert, Israeli officials repeatedly warned this week of impending revenge attacks.

Russia explains why it won’t use nukes in Ukraine

Moscow says its nuclear doctrine is very clear and the current conflict in Ukraine does not meet any of its criteria

The allegations about Russia threatening to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine are “untenable and baseless,” the head of Moscow’s delegation to the UN Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) review conference, Andrey Belousov, said on Friday in New York.

“This is impossible since Russian doctrinal guidelines strictly limit emergency situations in which the use of nuclear weapons is hypothetically possible, namely in response to aggression involving weapons of mass destruction, or in response to aggression involving conventional weapons, where the very existence of the state is threatened,” Belousov explained.

“None of these hypothetical scenarios is relevant to the situation in Ukraine,” he stated.

The Russian diplomat also rejected insinuations about Moscow placing its nuclear deterrent on “high alert,” explaining that the current state of “increased vigilance,” with extra personnel on duty at strategic command posts, is “completely different” from an actual “state of high alert of strategic nuclear forces.”
