I think that Natural Law should be the framework from which positive law is derived and that it can and should be invoked to invalidate laws of man (positive law) which violate the natural law. Some laws, not merely their judicial interpretations simply violate the natural law. How some judges rule in favor of positive laws that violates the natural law is tragic. It results in man becoming a slave to unjust laws, but since laws are made by man ideally for the benefit of man and "mankind," the entire legal and justice system becomes a system of arbitrary rules and their selective enforcement, backed by threat of force alone, rather than
