no economicsfag here… but all countries protect their workers… in this case (dairy/farming)
all of this posturing at china/canada/europe regarding specific areas are essentially moot until the currency reset occurs… when it does… i suspect these high % differences will be much closer (and big wins for POTUS in public perception)
why choose the dairy/farming issue? (beyond the % imbalance)… why not softwood? why not oil?

they are subsidized… farming (wheat/dairy), softwood, etc…. both sides of the border… what is weird about the dairy world is that almost all dairy consumption is controlled by a few global companies.
