“Blatantly Unconstitutional” – Soros-Backed Florida Prosecutor: Governor DeSantis “Does Not Have the Authority to Suspend Me”

Governor Ron DeSantis this week suspended Soros-backed Florida prosecutor Andrew Warren.

DeSantis suspended the state attorney because he refused to enforce Florida’s abortion laws.

“Warren said that it doesn’t matter what the legislature does in the state of Florida. He is going to exercise a veto over that. He’s also instituted policies of ‘presumptive non-enforcement’…that is not consistent with the role of a prosecutor. You can exercise discretion in individual case, but that discretion has to be individualized and case specific,” DeSantis said as he announced Warren’s suspension.

Andrew Warren ran to the lefty media to complain about DeSantis’ decision to suspend him, calling the move “blatantly unconstitutional.”

“[DeSantis] does not have the authority to suspend me … the people elected me to serve in this position and I am going to continue doing it,” Warren said on CBS News on Friday.

Warren argued DeSantis’ abortion ban is unconstitutional.

“The governor’s abortion ban is unconstitutional. So, I am the one upholding the law,” Warren said.

Englishman who moved to Australia identified as the stonemason killed when bricks and scaffolding collapsed on him at a school

Stonemason who lost his life on Friday has been identified as Alistair Bidmead

He was working on a wall of a Petersham school building when disaster struck

A concrete slab, bricks and scaffolding weighing several tonnes fell on the man

Some of his workmates witnessed the horrific accident but no kids saw it happen

A crane was brought in to remove a massive slab that had trapped Mr Bidmead

A migrant English craftsman has been named as the stonemason who was killed when 'several tonnes' of scaffolding and bricks collapsed and crushed him on Friday.

Alistair Bidmead was working on the façade of a building when the tragic accident occurred at Fort St High School at Petersham in Sydney's inner west.

The stonemason, who owned Bidmead & Co based in Fairlight on Sydney's northern beaches, died while working on the third storey of the school's main building.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Michael Corlis said attempts to resuscitate Mr Bidmead were futile.

'His injuries were [such] he could not be resuscitated … unfortunately there was nothing we could do,' Inspector Corlis told 9News.

It is believed a façade broke loose from the structure before collapsing on top of him at 11am, with a number of workmates witnessing his death.

Rep. Dan Newhouse, Who Voted to Impeach Trump, Wins Primary in Washington

A U.S. House Republican who voted to impeach President Donald Trump advanced to the general election with a weakened advantage.

Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.), the incumbent congressman of the 4th district in Washington state, received 25.48 percent of all the 139,806 votes in the nonpartisan primary held on Aug. 2. He is going to face Democrat Doug White, who got a very close 25.38 percent, in the general election.

Loren Culp, the Republican candidate who was endorsed by Trump, had around 6,000 fewer votes than the primary winners.

Though President Joe Biden won Washington state in the 2020 presidential election, Trump led him with a 19-point advantage in the 4th Congressional district.

Compared to the results of 2020, Newhouse’s advantage has apparently been weakened over the last two years, which is likely caused by his pro-impeachment stance.

Newhouse won with 57.4 percent of all votes in the 2020 primary, more than double the votes of the second-position Democrat Doug McKinley.

However, he will likely be able to win the general election if the majority of the Republican votes from the primary go to him.

Impeachment Republicans Score 2:6

At least six out of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump in 2021 will not return next Congress.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio), and Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.) have announced retirements after the current term.

Rep. Peter Meijer (R-Mich.) has been defeated by Trump-backed John Gibbs in the Republican primary.

Gibbs is a former Trump administration official.

Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.), a five-term congressman, lost his reelection bid to South Carolina state Rep. Russell Fry, who was endorsed by Trump.

However, Meijer told Sirius XM radio’s Julie Mason that he didn’t regret the impeachment vote.

“I would rather lose office with my character intact than stay reelected having made sacrifices of the soul,” he said.

Rep. David Valadao (R-Calif.) and Newhouse survived the primary.

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-Wash.) is competing with Trump-backed Joe Kent for the second position in the 3rd Congressional district primary in Washington state. Beutler is leading with a razor-thin margin of 257 votes.

Report: 10 Criminals Arrested Nearly 500 Times, Thanks to New York’s ‘Insane’ Bail Reform

Ten criminals caused trouble in New York City and were arrested nearly 500 times, thanks to the state’s bail reform law, the New York Post reported Wednesday.

Many of those individuals remained on the loose, the outlet continued:

Stunning statistics compiled by the NYPD, and obtained first by The Post, show that the city’s alleged “worst of the worst” repeat offenders have been busted a total of 485 times since bail reform went into effect in 2020.

Two of the defendants are actually accused of embarking on lives of crime in the wake of bail reform, with one busted 33 times since 2020 and the other busted 22 times, all this year, the data shows.

Mayor Eric Adams (D) voiced his opinion on the matter Wednesday during a press conference.

“Our criminal justice system is insane,” he stated.

The NYPD’s number one criminal on the list was Harold Gooding, a man who had been arrested 101 times. Eighty-eight of those instances were after bail reform was enacted.

In July, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is linked to billionaire George Soros, defended freeing without bail a teenage suspect caught on video assaulting an NYPD officer, Breitbart News reported, “The suspect had been freed without bail for beating a stranger in a violent robbery just three days before the attack, thanks to New York’s ‘No Bail’ law, first imposed by former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and supported by sitting Gov. Kathy Hochul (D).”

Meanwhile, 92 percent of New Yorkers said crime was a “serious problem” in their state, along with 63 percent who said it was a “very serious problem,” according to a Siena College poll published in June.

In March, a study found many individuals working in Manhattan did not want to go back because of increasing crime and the homelessness problem, Fox 5 reported:
