You found out that 8kun uses multiple servers and that they take local time of each internal server when sending a post to the database and sometimes one server is faster than the other, which results in time stamps not always being in order.
What's the problem with that again?
Business application servers may even take a chunk of numbers each from a number interval on a central instance for performance reasons.
