I'd question the motive of any audience which wishes to see severely traumatised people, unless through necessity. Maybe I just have a nasty mind though.
If survivors need to speak and be heard, they need the right people listening who can help, not the possibility of fuelling some future abuser's fantasy, or getting a hostile or harmful reaction.
