No it's not incorrect, Jesus told you ALL THESE THINGS ARE DONE IN PARABLE.
He spoke in parables and asked if they didn't understand the parable how would they understand any of the parables because scripture is full of parables.
For instance, the FIRMAMENT separates the "waters above" from the "waters below". Revelation 17:15 tells you the waters, where the PROSTITUTE sits, stands for people, multitudes, nations, and languages.
"Heaven and earth" does not refer to a place you go when you die and the planet. Jesus told you heaven and earth will pass away.
