Anons, please pardon the personal comment. I just told my significant other about the present historical happening w/re to POTUS and KJU in Singapore. She became furious and said she would never accept that POTUS' actions could ever be good. Then she proposed I leave our house if I wanted to continue talking about him. What is this insanity? Why do people hate this man so much? It's completely irrational. It really upsets me, Anons. Not sure what to do.

I know it is (heavy-handed and wrong), have said as much and will say it again when some of the dust has settled. Odd situation - she and I are heavily invested in each other, but also both recognize we are not the best people for each other.
I wouldn't say she is the thought leader. In very many ways, she and I understand each other very well - even on controversial subjects. She is not a liberal, and I would consider her fairly 'woke' actually. Just not when it comes to this topic.
