Lawfag here. Just so you know, it's not an appeal. The Roe ruling was overturned by SCOTUS. Roe made abortion before 3 months, I believe it was 3 months, a constitutional right that states can't infringe upon. The Roe court had to jump through hoops to make the argument - basically using judicial activism, and basing the right to abortion largely on our constitutional right to privacy, among other con rights.. I will get back on and make a detailed post bc there's so much misunderstanding out there, down to the word "precedent". We elect our state reps, not SCOTUS. SCOTUS gave back to the states - and thus, to the people - the decision regarding abortion law. A person has an explicit con right to interstate travel - we're a republic for a reason - so a person is free to move or go elsewhere if they don't like the laws in their state.
