McCain Tells Ukrainian Anti-Government Protesters 'America Is With You'
Sen. John McCain addressed Ukrainian anti-government protestors in Kiev on December 16, 2013, saying:
"The free world is with you, America is with you, I am with you."
The protest arose weeks after Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych broke off negotiations for an IMF loan.
In April 2014, after Yanukovych was overthrown by violent protestors, Ukraine's newly formed government quickly agreed to a $17 billion IMF loan.
