The article said they stole details to a new weapons system called "sea dragon" if this is an actual weapons system and not just a new missile then it could potentially have a whole host of new vulnerabilities that can be taken advantage of, possibly even allowing direct access to bypass interlocks. If a bad actor is able to get all the details regarding a program like this they WILL find the vulnerabilities.

Its exactly the same as when the avionics companies say that planes can't be hacked yet hackers are still able to plug into a plane's entertainment system and start changing engine thrust and sending EICAS messages. There is no way to have a completely safe system…we all know how bad the military is at keeping their nukes safe. For god sakes the codes were set to all zeros throughout most of the cold war. I trust that given the schematics and enough time the chinese or the cabal for that matter could figure out an exploit.
