Five states are holding primary elections on Tuesday: Illinois, Colorado, Oklahoma, New York and Utah. There are also primary runoffs in Mississippi and South Carolina, and a special election in Nebraska.

In Illinois, two Trump-endorsed Republican candidates will win their races: Darren Bailey will win the GOP nomination for governor and Rep. Mary Miller will win her House primary, CNN projects.
In New York, incumbent Kathy Hochul will win the Democratic nomination for governor, CNN projects, and Rep. Lee Zeldin will win the GOP gubernatorial primary, defeating Rudy Giuliani’s son, Andrew Giuliani.
