Anons, the beams that are being posted and reposted were lightning strikes captured on a digital camera. Lightning is an extremely bright and quick flash. It overloads certain circuits in the composite video of digital cameras. Much like when you photograph something too close to the sun, you get a similar effect with lens flares. That's all those beams are. Non-related to anything happening this week.

Lightning strikes. They overload the servo circuit of digital camera's composite video receptors. Just lightning strikes. 1 in 10 photos of lightning will produce this effect on cheaper digital cams and most cell phones.
