Gray areas

There's been some confusion lately because of the extreme nature of content like BDSM. Is it illegal or just horrible? Hard to judge. The problem is that we don't know whether it's consensual. If not, we're looking at torture. Nobody wants to witness that, which is why it's removed (attack on the board). But posting BDSM is not illegal unless it involves the abuse of a minor. Then it's CP and treated as such.

TBH, the vast majority of stuff removed is just deleted. It's about 90% spam. SHILLS like to talk about ban hammers but bans are almost all for CP and they know it. The word "ban" is a favorite bc it carries a charge.

If you see something that's really out of line, post it on META and we'll take a look.

Jim can give us a space to post, he cannot ally our concerns about ongoing events. Who you really miss is Q. All of us do. There is no substitute for what he (or they) has given us, we all look back w/gratitude to the days when posting on QR was like surfing a wave.

Q told us "We are the news." That it what we have become: a source of information 24/7, run by unpaid volunteers inspired by Q's message.

No way to know if and when Q will post again. But we have his posts as pointers and the knowledge that we try our best each day to do what he asked: to collect and disseminate info not available almost anywhere else.
