SubFag checking in.

Q's pic is of a Boomer, in Washington state. Boomer HQ is Bangor, WA. Also notable, that there are 3 "SPECOP" (SPECial OPerations) boats that are homeported in Bangor. Those boats are all 3 of the Seawolf Class boats that were built, which replaced the USS Parche (For those who don't know, the Parche is the most decorated Naval ship in US history. They did super-secret squirrel stuff). Back on track, picture from Skunk Bay appears to be a missile launch.

What worries me the most after seeing posts 1474-1477, leads me to believe that this was a SLBM. (Sub-launched Ballistic Missile). The pic seems to be of a missile launch, Q's submarine pic (of an Ohio-Class missile sub), and the missing "D".

Ohio-class missile boats carry vertically launched Trident D5 missiles. Yes, that's a D in the nomenclature of the missile.

Another possibility is that it the "D" doesn't refer to the D5 missiles, but to TLAM-D (tomahawk) with cluster capabilities. Which is also plausible as the "mountain" pic Q posted with the flying shrimp monster did not have a tail (streamer, streak, fuel trail whatever you want to call it). More importantly, if one was gonna try to take out an airplane with a Tomahawk, a TLAM-D would be what I would try with. Also, to note, submarines are capable of launching Tomahawks too.

Praying I'm wrong.
