Why does USA (or anyone for that matter) need a "vote counting" machine?
Sure USA is 10x bigger than our population, but that just means 10x more polling booths & 10x more counting staff.
We don't have "last minute" changes to votes either…stats don't work that way.
once 25-50% is counted the result is usually known (except for stat anomalies - eg out lying areas etc)
oh and voting here is compulasory (yea I know), but maybe USA only has 5x votes to count.
No need for machines, just counters & auditors.
