The very concept of using the name of a God is itself Jewish in the ineffable name of their God. You still see remnants of this in Christianity in saying "In the name of Jesus Christ", instead of directly calling upon Jesus Christ. I know it's semantics, but it's quite different to call upon a thing itself, rather than just the name of a thing. Although, to think a thing is to name a think thing. It's a conundrum, which probably only exists now that I've made aware of it in the first place that there might be a distinction. Ah well.
