Is'nt the whole idea of Alice in Wonderland and the "Looking Glass" an analogy for comprehension of BOTH sides of the story? Like you are in court, and you are the judge (Referee), and you are making a "Judgement" between the two "Ships" in "Court" - the ships are complaining back and forth - volleying I think the term is? and the Judge must look threw his looking glass to comprehend both sides of the equation..
