Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg told airline executives to clean up their act and avoid another flying catastrophe before July 4 as a record number of flights were canceled across the US for a second day in a row. On Friday, as of 11am, more than 1,000 flights across the US have been canceled and more than 2,300 have been delayed. LaGuardia is the second highest in the US for cancelations today, with 98 flights, with Charlotte Douglas Airport leading the pack with 113 cancelations.(Snip)Buttigieg, alongside millions of other travelers, are tired of what feels like constant cancelations without so much as an apology from the airlines.
