At the same time:

Let's say 8kun was comp'd in some way or salt is, or whatever, then why would anyone do it this way?

When you control the platform, you can simply pretend that your fake Q secret is the correct one, show the Q tripcode and everything is fine. Everyone thinks you are Q and no one can figure out that it's fake except admin.

By changing algo, salt or whatever you make it possible that others notice, which is what happened. So if this was fuckery, it would have been stupid fuckery.

It would be nice if Jim explained how exactly Q's secret is processed in comparison to everyone else's secret. It can't be location based, because of the TOR posting.

That's the only possible explanation, some kind of shortcut that skips part of salt, algo whatever. Otherwise it makes zero sense. If Q's secret was processed like everyone else's secret, Q's trip should have been different, but wasn't.

Wait, got another one. Let's say Q is quantum magic and changing salt broke trips, but quantum magic makes it possible to calculate new secret for new salt for same tripcode, showing that all security is comp'd. Message sent?

At the same time, now salt/algo or whatever is switched back and the latest Q post also matches, despite that being switched back.
